How many vegetables does it take to knock you out of ketosis? I want to experiment, but wondered if maybe someone knew already. Congrats on the willpower! This sounds like a Vitamin C deficiency. A lot of times, supplements don't give you viable quantities of the Vitamin...your body doesn't know what to do with it. I would suggest adding lemon juice to some of your foods, and make sure that you're eating good quality leafy greens.

The acid reflux is getting better! I noticed a flair up after eating pork rinds the other day, so I've cut those out, and haven't really had any more issues. I'm full aware of the "powers that be" pushing meds that are hurting us, I'm always speaking out about it, but have a hard time finding anyone to listen!

I actually have lactose intolerance. So even though I LOVE dairy, dairy doesn't love me. LOL!

I've heard that upping your carbs for one day a week can help with a stall. I am currently relying heavily on dairy to get me through the first couple of weeks, but after that, I plan on cutting it out. I know I have a dairy issue.

Unfortunately, I'm very familiar with ACV and acid reflux, I used to practically drink the stuff. That's why I'm a little concerned. I Googled low carb and acid reflux, and it actually seems to be curing some people. So fingers crossed that it goes away. Thank you for your response. =)

Apples contain enzymes that will aid in digestion. That's probably why you feel hungry after eating one. I used to eat them if I was REALLY full right before bedtime, because they will help you break down foods in a hurry.

Elphie, I had been eating 1200-1500 calories a day and was unable to lose weight. I'm eating about the same calories on LCHF, and I've dropped weight. I must have been having issues with sugar.

I've just started low carb myself. I'm doing LCHF, and have been on it 5 days, and have already lost 6 lbs! I've lost more in one week on this diet than I could in a month before. Try eliminating dairy. If you're not losing weight with this diet, it's possible that something is causing inflammation. Dairy is the main culprit.
