Good job wanting to make the effort. Step one: done. Now put your plan into action. No matter what this thing is going to take time and the more you stay positive and keep working at it is time you are cutting to get closer to your goal. Focus on small goals. I was on the brink of 400lbs before. Start slow and work your…

5 days a week. Lifting heavy. One area of focus each day during lifting sessions. (Chest, Arms, etc.) I do light cardio certain days for about 15 minutes. Waiting on some boxing gloves so I can start doing the boxing drills I set up for cardio. The boxing drills take about 45 minutes.

My life consists of five things: Working, Working out, Netflix, gaming, and tattoos. Im a consistently boring POS....i've kinda come to terms with it.

You are overworking your muscles. They have no time to recover. You need to work on a certain body area for a certain day. On top of that you are doing too many reps. Split your workouts up. Mine for example goes Monday: Bi's, Tris. Tues: Legs. Weds: Chest. Thursday: Back. Friday: Shoulders. I do about about 2-3 sets of…

If you wanna lose the weight, you gotta make the sacrifices. Drinking goes the same with ****tttty food. If you aren't willing to make a significant moderation you aren't going to see any progress. Gladly I have no interest in drinking. Every blue moon, maybe, but VERY rarely.

It depends how close they are. If they are just a few feet away, I change lanes, speed up and do it to them.

Thats a healthy goal, man. You can definitely do it if you put the work in.

Bulk buy frozen chicken breast. Also egg whites, turkey, and protein powder with higher protein. The brand I buy Is 25g's per scoop.

I have lost 100+ before but it wasnt through lifting, SO now im 22lbs down in just a month. All done through heavy lifting, very little cardio, and eating quite a bit. Also, I am gettin 250-275g's of protein a day. Be sure to get your protein if you intend on building muscle, as well as eating enough.

You gotta start somewhere. Not something to psyche yourself out about.

I take about 25% fat on a 2800 cal day. I dont concern myself about fat itself so much as limiting saturated fat, which tends to be the unhealthier fat. Fat itself doesn't make you fat, but anything in excess is bad. Edited to add: Poly and Mono are considered the healthy fats.

You're disgusting!... okay, im totally joking, and as a matter of fact you look great! But in all seriousness I was one that always needed flavor when I drank. I made water my only drink by cutting everything else out completely and drinking it often. Having it cold and ready to drink makes it a lot more compelling as…

Love my fairer sex mfp friends, but also would like to bro my list up a litte more.

Just drink the damn water. That was my personal philosophy. Now I get at least 8 cups before noon most days. Learn to love it.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I have heard about the 5x5 stronglifts. I may look into those. Looks like I have to work on my squat and deadlift forms now. Until today i've always just done alternatives to all these because I never had an opportunity to try them..

If you read the boxes of these type of pills they usually have an asterisk explaining how you'll see results with a healthy diet and exercise....WELLLLLLL do that without the pill and guess what you got? SAVED MONEY. The pills I recommend giving a gander are vitamins, multivitamins and fish oil.

My diary is open. And I tend to keep it in check. I usually go over a few macros, but nothing that has stopped me from progressin. Im Big and athletic guy, with a goal of building muscle so my diary can tend to be pretty awesome.

5'10 329 lbs. Extremely active and light on my feet though. Ran a 7 minute mile as well, not bad for a 300plus pounder. I have lost 90+lbs before but injured my shoulder playing football and it all fell to ****. Im always tryin to find those similar to myself in goals and body composition, dont seem like there are too many…

When you work you usually just wanna come home. I know the feeling. I broke the habit by bringing my gym clothes with me in my car and i'd usually follow through. Soon enough I actually wanted to go workout, even if work was draining. I work at Target unloading trucks and im on my feet the whole time too and do frequent…

Me too! recently have been attempting to find more friends too. I love supporting others and getting the support always makes it better too. Pretty active. Try to keep a good sense of humor about everything. Open to any new friends.

I don't think they are harmful. But those types are pretty redundant. I am fine with the fun forums though, so dont get me wrong.

If you are terrified of loose skin i'd advise eating more. I havent had the loose skin issue anytime i've lost weight before. I know what I did to avoid loose skin was not rush the weight off. The faster it comes off the higher the chances of loose skin. You want a steady loss each week. And i'd at least double your cals…

Im open for new friends too. Been on mfp about 2 years. Never really made a substantial effort to branch out though. I feel like if I have a bigger support base, I'd be able to maintain my goals. I have reached my goals before but always fell back.
