The simple answer is commitment and patience. They are the most important keys to getting where you wanna be. I think mostly anyone who has lost weight has been in your spot. I've been back and forth between 280 and 350 for the last couple years. It;s a constant battle and the only way to ever get past it is to fully…

My only deal breaker is not having a pulse.

Already had a good feeling about DDP yoga just from everything I have watched and read on it. Definitely buying it come next pay day. Might just trade my gym membership in for it if it goes well enough. Baannnngggg!

250lbs is my goal weight! Closest I have gotten is about 265. never could close the deal. Highest weight was 354lbs. Right now, as of my last weigh in, I am at 334. I am always looking for new friends, and those with similar body types are also very welcome, it's always nice to have those with similiar goals.

I used to have a lot of them too. When I dropped major weight the first time they went away...well, most of them. I see some of the skinniest people I know with stretch marks. Sometimes you just can't do anything about certain ones but just make them fade. Also, they make cocoa butter specifically for that. So maybe give…

The secret is patience. Keep your head in the game long enough and stick with your workouts and you will get the job done. I have been there and done that many times. If anyone knows the secret to beating depression that always causes me to gain the 45-90lbs I always work so hard to drop...that would be the best secret to…

Patience is vital. It doesn't happen in a matter of weeks. For some people, even months or beyond a year. You keep doing what you are doing and it will show and pay off.

Yeah, it's always that way when you don't exercise....you freakin LOATHE the idea. But once you actually start doing it frequently, it makes you feel great and you actually start to like it. My advice is to just do it and the endorphins'll come flowin in and you'll be feelin good and enjoying it.

Pretty much what the earlier poster said about 5-8 Reps. But make sure in those 6-8 Reps you put in you have a stable form as well. Heavy is different for everyone, and you have to build your way up.

Not only have I come close to losing 100 pounds (90). I've done it three times! Trying to get my **** together, didn't have a support base the first few times, so hoping this time with a support group (only though it's only online) might help make a difference. Any and all feel free to add.

Their secret is overestimating. I see quite a few people who put a really short time of between 10 to 15 minutes of calisthenics or walking or something like that, saying it burns like 3-400 cals. In an hour...definitely a possibility, but in 15 minutes? Not likely. That's why you don't use MFPs burned estimator. When I…

23 here. Always looking for new friends.

I will not. You got it right bro! hahaha I too enjoy these things and have done so while losing nearly as much weight as yourself...unfortunately without exercise they caught back up to me, so I gotta work my way back down! lol

My completely jokingly suggestion: Get a job at a warehouse or a retail store. You'll make half what you do now and do twice as much physical labor! Win/Win! That's the route I took, but thats because I ain't no good at the book smarts. But in all seriousness, maybe try and get in a little more walking either before or…

Can I lick one hand while I wave to myself?

The lady at the gym, who yeah, may be good looking enough, but every single workout she does consists of her bending alllllll the way over in her very very very short shorts. I could see past this part, but everytime she does it she is blocking off half of the dumbbells that everyone uses, and not using the entirely wide…

One of my favorite snacks. Can be high in sodium, but I am able to look past that. I've had ostrich and deer jerky as well. I'd have deer jerky everyday of my life I had access to it.

I take a multivitamin and triple strength Fish oil

Try doing something that dont cause you pain. Try some brisk walking or something. I have some nerve damage in my left leg and get it bad when I run. You can also try buying some compression gear for the areas that are causing you pain, it definitely helps.

Yeah. I faced a similar situation in the way that I just lost motivation and kept skipping workouts when I told myself to go. There is really only one true way when you don't wanna go....just drag yourself to your workouts and get going. I tell everyone, with me, it's like: When you don't do it for so long, you don't wanna…

Nope. There are good carbs and bad carbs though. Just have less of the bad ones.

Same here. Feel free to add me...OP or anyone for that matter.

You look amazing

My highest weight was 354, even then I was able to run pretty regularly and do situps and pushups, pullups, played basketball, all that jazz. I have always been able to get around well for my size. So I guess it really depends on how well you carry your weight. But even so, there is room for improvement. In about three…

Hey! They don't like me either! Which is probably why I cry myself to sleep every night in the corner of my room....or maybe that's why they don't like me?...I tend to do it in public a lot too.

If you aren't suffering from malnutrition-- I say to each his own. Good job on the loss.
