I finally had to go ahead and pay for an expensive sports bra from Macy's. I cant remember the brand name but they dont have a great variety of sports bras at Macy's so it would be easy to find. Mine latches in the back like a regular bra. I have not found a good pullover bra yet, they all have to much "give," resulting in…

Hang in there lady. Find some alternative snacks that work for you and make sure that you space out your alternative/kind of healthier snacks throughout the day to help your body adjust a little better to your change of diet. A few of the foods that I use (other than the obvious fruits and vegetables) are jello, Stouffer's…

These are necessary skills to learn and practice. Unfortunately, to few males are being taught the right way to admire a woman without making her terribly uncomfortable. Work on your self-confidence and acquire and practice these skills. There are books on this subject matter. Stick to your fitness goals and good luck…

Sorry I don't think that I will be much help. I often do exactly what you did when I am in that situation. Or sometimes I just choose the lower number as an extra precaution (I know it's not good to do this all of the time, but I do it sometimes anyway). Keep up the good work:smile:

Welcome!!! You have made a good move deciding to join MFP. I find the community on here very supportive and informative. And the tools that are provided here are pretty awesome too (even when they are not working correctly sometimes). You and I seem to be of close age, height and starting weight. I wish you the best. I…

I think that I'm going to give this a try. If I'm not able to get all of the foods that I need to start this upcoming Monday, then I'll try next Monday. What a neat idea!

It's amazing when kind-of suddenly you arrive at a realization about yourself and decide to really do something about it. I am so glad that my sister introduced this site to me. It has been very helpful to me. I wish you the best and know that you will be successful:smile:

When I do the beginners DVD I use "Low Impact Aerobics." When I do the Advanced DVD and complete the workout at what I feel is average-high intensity for me I use "Aerobics General," which is a higher calorie burn than the "Low Impact Aerobics" but lower than the "High Impact Aerobics." I like to use the lower numbers too…

Hey Great job working towards your goal! I suggest that you try any brand of protein (meal) bars. Sometimes (not often :) )I have a little trouble making the minimum 1200 calories intake. Also, I don't eat a lot of meat, so I am often far below my protein goal. I may be having a very busy day or just not that hungry. The…
