hahaha!!! There is a lot of funny, cool, and great ideas here. Of course I didn't read them all, I just skipped to the end to put in my two cents worth. Getting up early is a habit, like a lot of things if you do it for a week or so you will find that your eyes open automatically at whatever time it is you get up. I get up…

Remember, of course, that losing fat does not always mean losing weight. There has been a lot of great advise given about your weight and physical condition. I started out at 243 lb. (237 when I started here on MFP). When I reached my original goal, I was very happy. Getting in shape was the next thing. My wife and I…

This is one of the things I asked my doctor when she told me I needed to lose weight and get in better physical condition. She told me to try to get into a healthy eating habit first. Once that was achieved it would not be a big deal if every once in a while I treated myself...just once in a while not every week. I don't…

OK...My two cents worth. My wife has been doing the weight loss with me on MFP and I gotta say she is getting sexier all the time. I'm crushing on her like back in our high school days and we are 58. How will you know if that is for you if you don't try it. Don't let anyone else convince you that they are the experts on…

My doctor told me I was a walking heart attack and if I didn't get off my fat *kitten* and lose some weight the rest of my life would be spent filling prescriptions for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes. None of these sounded like how I want to spend my retirement days and they are just around the corner.
