I try to put the craving off and tell myself, "if I'm still craving this in an hour, then I can have some. Usually, I'll get busy doing something else and forget all about it. If after the hour, I still want it, I'll have a small amount.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I too, am an emotional eater and it's taken a while for me to get on the wagon and to start looking after myself. Feel free to add me. I'll give you all the support possible.

Hi Everyone! My name is Jill and I just turned 49 a month ago. I've been on a weight loss journey before - about 10 years ago. Boy, is this weight loss journey ever different! It doesn't seem like I know my own body! It's a lot more difficult to lose weight, but not impossible! I'm hoping hot flashes help burn calories!…

Same thing happened to me. I ate 1200 to 1300 calories net, and exercised. Nothing came off. I just kept at it and slowly but surely, the weight started to come off. It's frustrating because you don't seem to know your own body anymore! I eat the calorie allowance that MFP recommends and it will happen!

Do you have anyone who can act as a coach? My sister is my coach. I have given her access to MFP food journal and we've come up with a exercise regiment I can do. Sometimes it helps to have someone in your corner - almost like a sponser. I wish you all the best.
