  • You look younger now and gorgeous - look at those curves! Well done! Keep going :-)
  • Oh I think. Just identified my ideal body type... 10-12% yum! My man is a slim toffee (quite a lot of visceral fat) and needs to lay off the beer or I will have to buy him bigger trousers - he looks more like the 20% guy. No chance of getting him doing more than his one hour of badminton each week and the occasional walk.…
  • Discipline is my consistent conscience. I ask myself to pause before eating and think - does this make me healthy/fuel my body? If the answer's no. I don't eat it. And having strict rules that I'm not allowed to deviate from - doesn't work for everyone but it works for me. So - my rules are: I don't eat refined sugar I…
  • I like unusual shoes..... Not very keen on pics on myself - I'm very self-critical. I prefer to be behind the lens.....
  • I've had a bonkers binge week too - a whole whopping 10 days in fact. Have eaten anything and everything including alcohol, take aways, chocolate, jelly beans, bread, cheese, and lots of cake! So got my head straight tonight. What's done is done. Have reflected on what triggered it. For me lack of sleep and stress, and…
  • Killer curves with a tiny waist! I'm well jell! :-)
  • There's only 45 people in USA that share my name. They are all male! (I'm not!) Never seen another Guinivere on here tho....
  • I think it's a hospital trust's responsibility to ensure their staff has access to healthy options around the clock. Private sector manage it....
  • I love skinny guys! My man is 5ft 10 and 154lbs. He's got very little fat on him, BMI is 22 but actually he's very wiry with long lean muscles. Yum! I was a fat bird with big boobs and my thin man really enjoyed them, now there's less of me all over but he likes that I'm healthier now.
  • Yup I've over-ridden the macros too. I guarantee if you drop your carbs and raise your protein you will not feel so hungry. Give it a try. Protein with every meal with nuts for snacks (more protein and good fats) I'm walking proof that it works You'll be fine.
  • I've gone from 38J to 34E but whilst I know it still sounds like they are big, they are in proportion to me when in a bra but out of the bra very saggy. I've not had any kids so can't even say my body has evidence of something miraculous! It's a bit difficult to feel sexy when naked.
  • Peanuts are legumes. Nuts and nut butter are cashew, pecan, pistachio, hazelnut, Brazil, almond, macadamia, walnut, pine nut.... Nut butter is a great source of healthy fats and protein and keeps you full or longer. Eat with carrot sticks and cucumber sticks for a great contrast in taste and texture. Many people have a lot…
  • I did whole30 before I'd ever heard of whole30. Changed my life :-) For the better.
  • You've definitely tried the more obvious self-experiments which I applaud you for. I can only wish you patience and luck - hope it turns out to be something well known and fixable :-)
  • I don't trust medical doctors. I have had terrible experiences. I put myself on a gluten free regime and also cut out lactose. My IBS was chronic. It has now gone for good! Everyone is different but sometimes you have to take control of your own health.
  • I'm shooting for 154 the same as I was twenty years ago but if I fit in my UK size 14 wedding dress with a 29inch waist by July next year I don't care what the scales say! I'm currently UK size 16 and have a 35 inch waist. I'm dropping about a pound a week now.
  • Well it does matter to me. It's taken me ages to find the right time to eat the right food for my body and my lifestyle. I would recommend you experiment and record your own results. Then you will find what works for your body and lifestyle.
  • To answer you directly, I can't speak for everyone else but I have first hand experience of being with a girl out walking down the street. She's about a UK 16 and quite attractive, not too alternative but more than one person called out "here piggy piggy piggy" and several people stared just a bit too long. And it was…
  • I had my gal bladder out 13 years ago and struggled with food for years and even got a peptic ulcer because I was clueless. I got great advice on here two years ago and with my very low carb, very low dairy, no sugar, gluten free regime ( note - not a diet) I eat a primal/paleo clean eating way every day. The habits I have…
  • "I also noticed how easy has been for me to judge those that have not yet made the connection and continue to live unhealthy. Really that shocked me more than anything else." This And I am ashamed to say that I feel less respect for those who don't respect their own health. I didn't respect myself when I was fat and unfit…
  • Discipline is my keyword. Closely followed by consistency...
  • That's 13 weeks. Would love to lose 2 lbs per week. 26 would put me 2 lbs from goal!
  • Yep just let the negative ones drift away and seek out other positive people to buoy you up. I call it recharging when I spend time with other up-beat people. I ration the time I have to spend with the negative people as I appreciate you can't avoid them completely. And I don't offer them advice, or solutions cos they…
  • I just get mine from food. Watch out for smoothies - they were too much for me and I put weight on again as thy are so high in carbs. And you lose all the good fibre. I eat very little fruit but lots of veggies. Probably 8 portions a day for variety.
  • I only eat small portions but if I am in the leftovers zone I keep them til tomorrow. I never throw food away. Those sides can all be microwaved or baked back to life the following day. If it happens a lot make less sides or no sides? Then there's no waste!
  • This could be the onset of Bulimia. I would definitely seek help via your Doctor or Counsellor. You CAN overcome it and learn to eat in a more stable and sustainable way. You CAN get your life back honey. It WILL get better.
  • The Dark Robot!
  • If you can't/won't seek external help right now why not try to eliminate one food group and see if you can stick to it. Experimenting like this really helped me. You don't say what you binge on (sweet or savoury) but I picked sugar to eliminate entirely for six weeks to break my binging habit. Hard line no exceptions.…
