Don't beat yourself up about it. A 5k at 42 minutes is still a 5k finished. My first 5k took about that long and I thought I was in enough shape(cardio wise) from hockey. But running is a whole new beast. Keep at it and you'll get better. It only took me a few months of running to get my time down to 32:28. I know there…

I second the Guinness vote. Plus, it will fill you up so you don't have to drink as much. Have fun!

My team is my favorite. :) But we're not in the NHL so we problaly don't count... Am much as it pains me, I bleed Wild colors. Any of you fellow hockey fans can feel free to add me.

My 10:30 was 10 squats and 10 lunges. 11:00 was 10 chair dips and 15 desk pushups. Those were hard since my shoulder is still injured...

I like the sideways and skipping a step options. I might have to try that out today.

I've got 25 side twists and 25 side reaches. Wonder what I'll do next...

I would check out a local Farmer's Market. I LOVE going to mine here in Minnesota. They have plenty of fresh produce at a decent price. I used to be a very picky vegetarian but over the course of the last 10 or 15 years I've learned to LOVE just about every Veggie. I love making Pilafs and Salads with Quinoa. It cooks up…

Too funny. I was having a conversation about this yesterday. I think it's totally justifiable that boobs make a difference in BMI. If you're someone with large or dense breasts it seems logical to assume that your BMI would be affected by them. I've always wondered what mine weigh...

Well it's a good thing I have plenty to choose from. :)

I love it! Congrats on beating the urge to snack and doing something healthy all whilst getting rid of your headache!

Skipping in the landings? Why didn't I think of that?!? That's brilliant! I live on the third floor and have many of the same issues. I tend to do less cardio and more Yoga and other things that don't require jumping and when I do jump, I've learned to jump and land quieter. To get my cardio in I tend to head outdoors or…

I hear ya! I'm in Minnesota as well and the heat and humidity have not been kind. I have had a hard time myself this last week.

Amazing!! Way to stay dedicated!

Pick me, pick me! I love a good dark flavorful pint. If I can see through it, or there's no flavor, I don't want it.

During that time I allow myself a cup of Annie's Kettle Corn. It's sweet, it's salty and it has crunch. All the things I crave. One cup has 70 calories. Not great, but it's better than the alternative of saying that food is forbidden and end up pigging out on it because you want it that much more.

There's no such thing as too many motivaing friends. I'm here for anyone that needs it!

Can I get an AMEN? Very well said!

Everyone can use a little motivation now and then. I'm happy to give it. Feel free to add me. :)

I only just changed mine to Friends only. I'm hoping that it will help me keep on track and make some better decisions... Fell free to add me.

I recently fell off the wagon as well. I gained back about 5 or 6 pounds. But starting today, I'm back at it! Life happens and we can't beat ourselves up over it. We just need to remember why we started and how good it felt to be doing it and get back on. You can do it!

I'm only 8 miles from Bree. Soon I'll be staying at the Prancing Pony.

Way to go!

Congrats on starting! Even finding the strenght to try can be hard, but you've conquered that. Everyone has to start somewhere. I was really pathetic when I started running, but I stuck with it. Not long after I started I got my first "runner's high" and that made a huge difference for me. I started running more often,…
