I eat about 30% (or thereabouts) of my exercise calories back to keep my fire burning. That works for me. You can't deprive yourself of fuel or your calorie-burning fire will go out ! Good luck on your journeys everyone :drinker:

Good luck on your journey, it's all to do with will-power and focus! You can do it! Take care :drinker:
-
Liking everything that you said! I didn't actually realise number 3 was possible?! :noway: I'm quite high maintenance (lol!!) in that i like to see people working out and commenting on others' calorie burns, so feel free to add me along your journey, and i'll do my best to keep you motivated too Peace :drinker:

I'm right with you dude, my sentiments exactly! Lets shift some bulk together and give the ladies a more trimmer "us" to look at :drinker:

Skimmed milk for me, with a scoop of chocolate milkshake mix afer a workout ;-) I don't worry about the sugar levels, however should i?! I never even gave it a thought until i'd read this thread?!?!?! :drinker:

Use that willpower! No-one can overcome your resolve!!!!! Otherwise, have a very small piece and do more exercise later today or tomorrow to burn it off. Everything in moderation, you can't abolish all treats, life would be so hard without them ! Take care :drinker:

Good luck, feel free to add me if you would like support and motivation, i'll do my best :drinker:

Duck with plum sauce isnt too bad. Well, the one served by my local takeaway anyway (!!) If you pick something with mostly vegetables in your dish, then i wouldn't worry too much One chinese isn't going to to be too bad for you in fairness, just do more exercise tomorrow to compensate? Bon appetit :drinker:

I think it's down to lack of willpower. Or you need to identify what makes you do this. If you logged what you ate when you have these "splurges", then it will only take a couple of times before you realise the calorie content of what you're eating!! I had a "splurge" when i first joined this in January, 9 tiny squares of…

I bought a little set of electronic scales so i can get a better idea of how much "50 grams of this, 28grams of that" actually is. I tend to over estimate slightly just to be safe, but it depends how accurate you want to be. If i just have a couple of crisps i don't tend to put them down, but i think most food items are…

I have the crunchy Whole Earth peanut butter with no added sugar on a slice of wholemeal toast an hour before i go spinning, love it :drinker:

Looking good! Well done, i wish i was brave enough to do this!!!! :drinker:

Option 2 looks good to me :drinker: x

Sounds like a challenge to me! Add my name to your list please! Rich :drinker:

Ok, the March Challenge over. Final stats for me: 3.5kg weight loss, 1 inch off my neck, 3 inches from my tummy and 3 inches off my hips.  All in all, i'd say that's some mega progress!! April, HERE I COME!!!!! :drinker:

Leave at least 48 hours between strength training sessions to allow your muscles to recover. You can do cardio everyday if you want, but i find a day off allows me to be more intensive when i do workout. If you did wwant to step your game up, maybe do one hard cardio session and then the next day do a different one at…

Well done! Each small step is one in the right direction on your fitness and healthy journey! :drinker:

Maybe i'm part nerd part grammar police, and it should be YOU'RE not YOUR! Sorry

That's amazing!! You've made my mind up, the 30 day shred is going to be my challenge for April! Keep up the good work! :drinker:

Hi, I've lost 13kg since being here from January, "only" 24 left to go (!!!) Feel free to add me if u like? Good luck on your journey :drinker:
-
I accept either as a continuing measure of my success! Sometimes i get both, but i don't stress as long as i'm getting results. Well done though :drinker:
-
You have to really WANT to do it! If your mind-set is not right, then nothing will happen. Logging all your food is one part, exercising is another. Surely seeing the calorie content of 8 beers is enough to make you think "do I need to drink that many" ?? I've lost 29 lbs since being on this site in january this year. I…

Brilliant! Well done you! Take one day at a time, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Take care :drinker:

I'd be happy to swap motivational comments and support! I love this site for the friendly advice you can get, plus seeing efryone doing varying levels of exercise really does spur me on. I've lost 2 stone so far and this site is now part of my life!! Feel free to add me :drinker:

Quality work, keep it up ! :drinker:

You're in starvation mode by the sounds of it. you're not fuelling your bodies' fire and so anything you do eat is being retained. Again, making your diary public may help people make more informed comments. Also, too much sodium will make your body hold on to water Just a thought, hope u can find a remedy :drinker:

When i heavy weight train, i'm usually sore the next day. However, what i found (and his was a tip in Men's Health magazine a few months back) post-workout, drink some milk with a teaspoon of ground ginger in it. (i add some chocolate milkshake powder in as it's a bit grainy) it's a natural anti-inflammatory and really…
