Gurp's would be cool, I haven't played that system in 20 years, especially if you can email us the PDF's or point us to them online. But of course, it'll be GM's choice as to system and I'm good with anything.

Maybe we need to pole the potential players as see if we all have a common RPG system that we could use. For example, I still have all my AD&D 2nd edition books, Call of Cthulhu, and Role Master. I am not opposed to buying some books as long as I don't have to fork out for a dozen manuals. Does anyone know if any of the…

I'm in. I think we need to give this a shot, if only to test the roll 20 thing out. If we are going to run a "Whitewolf" campaign, or some other system I'm not familiar with (its been over a decade since I gamed seriously) someone will have to point in the direction of some background material and/or books.

34 lbs so far so... 12402 + 34 = 12436 lbs.

Roll 20 looks very interesting! Especially the possiblility of voice and video chat. I'm going to have to float this by my old buddies and see if they are interested in giving it a whirl. Of course, if someone on here wants to get up a MFP game...:drinker:

Chicken curry over basmati rice. A little strange maybe but its my all-time favorite thing.

For me its not denying myself the foods I love. I've tried restrictive diets and they always failed. Eat what you like, make healtier choices whenever you can, but watch the calories.

First off I want to thank God that I'm a guy because I don't need a 3-5K dollar wardrobe! LOL. Seriously, I guess I'm lucky because I can get away with a couple of pair of jeans and a half dozen polo shirts for work (no suits and other expensive accessories). Unless I'm forced to, I'm not going to buy any dress clothes…

Is that the one in Greenbank, WV?

I'm now at an average two year old holding a rack of baby back ribs!

Brilliant!!!!!:drinker:

I completely agree. The best campaigns were the ones where we had a real purpose and we had to THINK! The best one we ever ran the group ran a crime syndicate (needless to say we were not paladins). We kept records, ran all sorts of illegal enterprises and had to stay ahead of the guard. When we finally finished I had at…

#1 Food Scale #2 Measuring cups (get more than one set) #3 Steamer #4 Crock Pot (Join one of the recipe groups here, tons of great, low-cal crock pot meals) #5 Olive Oil bottle (got the funky Rachel Ray one from WalMart - Love it) in with good oil, out with the bad #6 Tie Quinoa and Brown Rice #7 MFP - especially the…

 God, how I miss the good old days when we would have these geeky philosophical debates about paladins, drow, and pantheons. I'm itchin' to go dig the dice bag out of the closet!

Hmmmm.... That is something to think about!

My wife is in the same boat. Just keep at it. She has been frustrated with the lack of pounds lost, but she just bought new jeans a size smaller than she used to wear!

A sperm whale's brain and a rack of ribs. That sounds like a really bad food diary entry!

Keep those Goodwill receipts and you'll feel good all over again about losing weight when you itemize your taxes next year!

Good work and.....Let's go Mountaineers!

I was on Zoloft for many years and I also gained a lot of weight, but my lifestyle also changed as I went from a moderately active job to a sedentary one. I eventually got to a point with zoloft where it was no longer working for me. I am now taking Vibryd and it is doing a great job! I am way more even-keeled, i'm…

My A1C's have been steady at 6.5, but I've been on Metformin for 4 years and I know that its going to get worse if I don't do something. I just started MFP, but I'm already losing weight and I'm so looking forward to the day when I can ditch the metformin forever!
