ohhhhh myyyy!!!! I would assume because you would vomit everything in your system LOL

I agree ^^ Great job on your progress so far!! You should be proud :) The closer we get to goal - the harder it does get. Just when we think we have it down our bodies say "hey wait a minute here!" LOL Keep up your positive attitude, hug your family for their awesome support and keep on trucking!
-
Whoo hoo!!!! (you look fantastic BTW ) :)

The short answer is that our bodies convert molecules in fat cells to usable forms of energy, thus shrinking the cells. If you lose weight at a slow pace - the skin (elastic like) will return to normal state as your body shrinks. If you lose too fast you end up with baggy skin :/ Yes I looked it up LOL

OMG I saw this one!!! It is all over Pintrest too!!

Let me guess - the professional sold those vitamins or his / her spouse did!!! Eeek! :/
-
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!! (serious laughter out burst on this one!!)
-
Great advice - love it!

If you are set on doing the traditional sit up - use your couch (or some other stable heavy object) if there is space under it. Put your feet under the couch and use it to support your feet :) That is how I did them years ago lol They also sell items to help with this - so you are so not alone ;)

^^ This ^^ In your post you stated goal cal plus exercise. If you are using TDEE - 20% you do not eat back your exercise calories unless you worked out more than you stated when calculating it.

haha ya I am for the Bahamas..maybe I can get a bet going for a trip ;) Then again - I am dead set against betting him on anything! He is competitive and will ensure I lose the bet! haha
-
Thank you ~ I did see it :) and I did mention the diabetic part to him - and in fact the very reason i suggested the dr's opinion & blood work.
-
I wish - money is not a factor for him unless it is a utility bill LOL
-
I agree - I would think watching me over the past few months he would realize it takes time and effort. Sure I can do a quick fix but it is not a long term solution. I certainly did not lose this weight in a month - I actually started in September but only kicked my self in the behind in January. It took me awhile to get…

I just started him out on Monday doing what I am...TDEE - 20% I work out - he doesn't currently. I also bought him a fit bit so I can get a better idea on how much he moves around at work. He lost 5 pounds the first 2 days or something (weighs himself daily) then nothing and then the topic of juicing came back up :( Hence…

^^ This is EXACTLY my thoughts when I started this thread! ^^ Well that and how much damage it can do besides the obvious. :/ (too much sugar etc. - too much of anything is bad in my opinion) Hopefully he will speak with his doctor - from there if they say go ahead then I just have to ensure he has all the info necessary…
-
Someone else mentioned getting a doctors opinion - and I told him...to be sure his body would be OK to do this he may want to make an appointment for some blood work first. (plus having his Dr.s ok would validate him haha) Hopefully he at least takes that bit of advice from here.

He just mentioned the whole cravings thing...He is a muncher for sure and thinks this will kill his urge to stop munching. Thank you! (removal of bacon...ohhhh the devastation I feel LOL)
-
Thank you ...and so true!! LOL
-
You rock! Thank you for the explanations...:)
-
well at least you know I do not want sports or pay any attention to it what so ever...Thank you! (and the original..Punk!)
-
Right now he is all over the place with that answer...first it was eating only dinner. Then it was well maybe I will do it every day at work only (long term) and then it was well maybe I will do it every other week. Then he was back to long term !? LOL I think it depends on his success-fulness of weight loss.
-
Will look that up - thank you!
-
No LOL (well maybe..no just kidding) - what I am looking for are not just opinions...but facts of why it is good or why it is bad. We all have our own opinions on diets. And other than starving yourself..who says what is right or wrong. However I love my husband and if it causes more problems than it solves...I want him to…

Perfect - yes that helps!!! Now question - is this before juicing totals or after? Does juicing really just remove fiber? Or do they lose other nutrients such as above? For a man with his build I am very concerned about protein. Especially since he mentioned starting the gym. And like I said when he did it before I noticed…
-
Interesting concept...thank you (will have to do some research on that...I am sure he will try it anyways so if I at least give him some info on what to watch for...I will feel a bit better in the meantime.)
-
He is :) Not sure how much he reads everything on here though..he said the forums are too filled with drama and he can get that streamlined on facebook (he has a point haha) I also informed him I would be asking what you all thought about it because I am so close minded to it. Not that I personally follow every bit of…
-
Thank you :) I am thinking it will too lol
-
Thank you ! I will be sure to tell him this..all of it especially your last sentence!

Here is my problem - I think he is doing it to drop weight fast. He has been having problems with his back and thinks his weight is to blame. He is already losing counting calories but knows he lost more that one week he tried the juicing. So my thought (fear) is that he is not doing it for the "healthy" reasons but more…
