I am in Alberta and I started getting them at Bulk Barn. I now get the organic ones at Costco. As for the taste, I don't think they really taste like anything.

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Unbelievable-Pineapple-Cake/Detail.aspx My kids and whole family love this one. It contains no oil and no butter/margerine. I only use 1 cup of sugar and it turns out fine. I can't comment on the cream cheese icing though as I am dairy sensitive. I usually make a berry sauce to serve on top…

I don't have any tips off hand right now but I'll add you for sure. I've been eating clean off and on since '07. The longest I went was 16 months and lost 38 lbs. I'm now back at it again and feel awesome. Processed food tastes and smells so fake to me now, I don't think I can ever go back.

If you can handle the taste, then I recommend blackstrap molasses. I don't eat red meat and I've been iron-deficient since childhood (I ate lots of red meat as a child though but was always anemic). I've been taking a tbsp of BSM for less than a year now and no longer need iron supplements. Blackstrap molasses (preferably…
