  • But it sounds so pleasant. Where do I sign up?!
  • I'd rather nibble. Hmmmmmm, needs some butter of a nutty kind to go with it. Sorry, was somebody saying something about the shelf life of this thread?!
  • Well you guys had better move from the UK to Australia like I did then because Benny Hill is very much alive and well here. Damnit, now I'm gonna have that tune in my head all day with a picture of him chasing short skirted blondes. Oh dear! OP - you write very well, I found that interesting and entertaining. What is your…
  • You've lost a heck of a lot of weight already which I can only assume, without knowing you but knowing you're on this site, you've done the old fashioned calorie control and exercise way. This has obviously worked for you and as everyone is always saying in here: This is not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. So why spoil…
  • No, you are the poster child for Wikipedia. Coz we have to keep googling to find out what the hell you are talking about.
  • Perhaps you could make a poster of your best posts and post it in this post. Just a thought.
  • That is genius. I want a photo of her completely gobsmacked after this. I dare her not to stutter out an answer to that!
  • Maybe we could just eat bits of him but keep him alive. Everyone's a winner.
  • Not really Yeah, just thought I'd get in first!
  • I AM desperate, but I don't think what I'm after is on offer. So more MFP friends will have to suffice. Oooh, look at me with the big words. Am I impressing you? Am I?
  • If somebody's getting paid for the mumber of mentions of Chit Chat, Fun & Games, they're on a blimin' winner. If Taso was here, he'd have something particularly appropriate and inappropriate to say and it would be unbeatable. RIP Taso.
  • Right answer lol! I'll definitely be looking this up. Thanks for the tip.
  • As I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, only God is meant to be allowed to judge. And yet, in my limited personal experience, some religious people can be very judgemental (but I take each person on their merits and don't believe this of religious people across the board) Those people that are hide behind religion…
  • Another good one lost - what is happening in this place?
  • Sad to see another good one go ;-(
  • I didn't find it insulting - I said I didn't but it must have read wrong, sorry. Don't worry, I wasn't insulted. It was just an Ouchy - oh dear, I've never thought of it like that before kind of thing. A bit like a friend of mine who used to drink 2 bottles of wine a day and her husband a whole bottle of vodka a day and…
  • Still missing this top lady ;-(
  • Ouch! That's not to say I find your comment insulting, but just scary personally. I do binge but it is not a regular occurrence these days. Going on MFP has made it so that it's infrequent. The self-harm (mild as it is really) has been a long term issue. It used to be my feet and I would pick them all over down to the…
  • This is a great piece of advice too
  • I'm with you there. It's fantastic advice thank you :-)
  • It's actually a good question, and an appropriate one for me. When it's all just in my head as it is at the moment, it's like a system overload. I just think I've got more than I could possibly ever do and then I do nothing. If I take the time to write it down, sometimes this can really help me and I get on and do stuff…
  • The only thing that puts me off this book is the mention of God. I'm not religious so would not want to read a book if God was a theme running through it. Would this book be suitable for me?
  • I didn't think that was judgemental. I thought you wrote it with care and I didn't find it insulting at all. I know I have "issues" and know already (from previous counselling) what they are from, at least partly, though I do believe I have other issues to be explored also. Don't think I could afford counselling but any…
  • Thanks guys - it's nice to not feel alone and also hear supportive answers rather than a "For Gods sake, just pull yourself together woman" type approach. I love your advice thanks guys.
  • Same boat for me too. I want to eat EVERYTHING in the house! Just had a light morning snack to keep me going and I've forced down 4 glasses of water to fill me up. It's worked - I now feel sick! So maybe drink a couple of glasses of water before you eat each meal and it may help you feel more full. Good luck :-)
  • I admire your honesty. Out of interest, if you are saying you don't want to get better yet, what is your reasoning for being on this site and also being so honest about your ED? I'm intrigued. Please do not read this in any way to think I don't think you should be on this site or anything. That is not what I think in the…
  • I love the word Boobies too........but I'd rather have Heather back (as I know you would)
  • Nice logging - it looks like you are tracking everything which is great. Personally I had a bit of an addiction to fizzy drinks and would drink at least a couple a day. But for this to work, you really need to improve on your water consumption (and I'm talking straight cups of water, not whatever water is in anything…
  • The forums seem to get stressful themselves sometimes! This may sound silly but when it's all getting on top of me I find lists help. Instead of getting my brain all muddled thinking of the tons of stuff I need to do, I find if I write it all down it's actually not as much as my stressed brain thought and there is a…
  • What he said. Taso is the voice of reason. I wish you love, luck and happiness but you must grasp this by the horns and take it on girl and get help to do that.
