I got my first cell phone when I was around 25. I'm 33 now. (I was rather behind on the whole cell phone thing. Most of my friends had had a cell phone for years by the time I got one.)

The Bouncing Souls are my favorite band of all time. Seen them many, many times. I even have a Bouncing Souls tattoo! :)

My first concert was Bush, No Doubt, and the Goo-Goo Dolls when I was about 16. I'm not sure what's considered a "concert," as I go to shows all the time--usually at least a couple every month--but they're usually underground bands that aren't terribly well-known. I guess the last somewhat bigger show I went to was Against…

If I could see any band in the world live, it would be Faith No More. They are the only band on my "must see" list that I didn't get a chance to see before they broke up. :(

I work in administration at a college. I pretty much sit all day. I was much happier with my weight when I was working manual labor....but that's the ONLY part of my life I was happier with.

I personally prefer a curvy woman. A little overweight is preferable to a little underweight, at least for me.

I'm surprised that so many people are making a big fuss about the idea of having an ex's number in their phone. I am still on friendly terms with and communicate casually and occasionally with almost all of my exes. If you have an ugly breakup, I guess that's one thing, but most of my breakups were pretty clean and mutual,…

I actually particularly like a little meat on the legs (and everywhere else, for that matter). I personally think SKINNY legs are a turn-off, but I'm probably in the minority there.

I definitely still prefer the powder--Crystal Light and the like. To me, Mio has kind of a weird "chemically" taste.

I'll be 33 next month, and the girl I'm seeing just turned 22 last month. I see a lot of people talking about "different stages in life" and that sort of thing, but it really depends on the person. She is FAR more mature, responsible, and "settled down" than I am. In fact, I just joked to her last night that I'm way more…

I live in America, and I dated a girl in Brazil for about 2 years. It was tough, but for the most part, we made it work well. We managed to see each other about every 3 months on average, and we spent A LOT of time on Skype. :)

I weighed about 150 when I graduated high school. I wrestled at 135 my junior year. Nowadays I walk around at about 202-203.

I know I'm not supposed to advertise here, but since this is a book thread, I guess I'll throw this out there: I wrote a book. It's called 'Just Jake.' It's young adult fiction, sort of in the vein of 'Catcher in the Rye' or 'She's Come Undone' (which isn't TECHNICALLY young adult fiction, I suppose...). You can order it…

We have very similar taste. :) (King, Barker, and Roach are 3 of my favorites.)

Fargo, North Dakota, USA. Like the movie. Except....not really.

It's funny you should mention this. I went through a break up a few months after I started doing MFP, and my GF at the time said "All you ever talk about is going to the gym." Oh, well... :)
-
I don't feel like MFP is much like Facebook at all. I don't feel like there are people that I've truly gotten to know on here or anything like that. But I have a very active social life, so I'm not really looking for socialization here. That may not be the case for people with less active social lives. (For example, people…

I did the cabbage soup diet. Made it 3 days. At first, the soup was kind of good. Then...after a few days....not so much.

Uau. If I would have been asked to guess from the picture, I would have thought that you've lost twice as much as you have. Well done!

I generally use just a little bit of Crystal Light powder. (If you use the whole packet in a bottle like the directions say, I think it tastes NASTY. One packet probably lasts me about 3-4 bottles worth.) I just drink it plain sometimes, too, but I have a hard time drinking as much as I should that way.

Used to have my eyebrow, nose, and tongue pierced...but I have a "real" job now, so that doesn't fly. They let me keep 10 gauge plugs in my ears. It's not much, but I'm thankful for that, at least.

I would tend to agree. When I lift first, do I WANT to do cardio? HELL NO. It's the last thing in the world I want to do. I want to lay down and drink something cold. And I don't screw around when I lift. I superset everything, with no breaks between. I am probably sweatier, more tired, and more out of breath during my…

I've gone over a year on more than one occasion.

He's probably just too shy to ask you out. I've had girls tell me well after the fact that they were interested in me and couldn't figure out why I wasn't responding. Here are my reasons. 1. I didn't pick up on it. I'm the first to admit that I lack confidence, and my lack of self-esteem makes it difficult to interpret a…

I'm with you. If anyone has ever hit on me, I haven't been aware of it. And if I have ever hit on someone else, it was unintentional (and, again, I wasn't aware of it).

That's amazing. Kudos!

Social anxiety disorder and general anxiety. I've done therapy off-and-on for the last few years, and I've got a medication consult coming up in a few weeks. I have mixed feelings about the medication idea, but it's at least worth a try, I figure.

Buffalo wings and Taco Bell. But, to be honest, I still manage to eat those things pretty often, anyway. :)
