Generally with fresh fruit, i.e. 1 medium peach or 5 strawberries per 1 c of Daisy 2% cottage cheese. I eat Daisy because most of the other cc's have carrageenan in them and I don't want that. I have also eaten it with fresh tomatoes which gives it more of a savory taste. :happy:

Bagels are sooo not good for you - full of carbs, fats, sugars. Of course, if it works for you then that's all that matters. Personally I would stick to the greek yogurt or oatmeal. Just my opinion.

You can also add the sugar free pudding mix. The cheesecake is AMAZING!!!

I make dehydrated apples weekly and mix with nuts. A good homemade trail mix is not only packed with protein, but will fill you up. Also, perhaps cheese sticks would be filling for you.

It's all I can do to actually eat any meat. Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese gives you tons of protein and is actually pretty good. You could also add some unflavored protein powder to any other protein drink or juices you might drink.

I find if I have something with a little higher sugar content I will get sleepy and cold. Having lost so much weight and going from an insulin pump to no meds at all, I figure it is the rush of sugar the insulin used to counteract. Also if you have lost considerably fat, you could be getting cold from that too. I barely…

I like to use a small amount of half and half, then some mornings I will put about a 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder in it. Absolutely luscious!!

Angie, was your B12 tested in your labs? I would suggest taking sublingual B12 dots to help with the energy, along with Biotin daily. I notice when I 'forget' to take mine I get run down. Also, at your height and weight, you can actually up your protein to 105 grams a day. I use Syntrax medical protein which is unflavored…

I am addicted to the Pure Protein Chocolate Delight bar. 20 gr protein, 180 calories, 2 gr sugar, 17 carbs. It will keep you full and satisfied for hours.

If you have had sleeve surgery it's hard to get in the calories. I am 4 months post op and still have a tough time battling to even get in 800 calories.

I make my oatmeal in the microwave by adding 2 T chopped apples and 1 T chopped pecans, walnuts or almonds, whichever I have on hand. The apples sweeten it enough so I don't need any sweetner.

Oh the almond milk and oatmeal sounds delicious. I am new to almond milk so I'll have to try this.
