  • I'm 47 yo, 5' 2" and before 5 months i was 144 lbs and in the same fitness condition with you. Plus my life style was sedentary. I started walking. Every day. Adding distance slowly. After 3 months i was walking about 25000-30000 steps a day. I was feeling better every day and stronger. Before 2 months i started 30ds (i…
  • Fitbit tracks your steps (walking or running), distance, calories burned (from steps plus the calories you need to stay alive, your bmr) and stairs climbed (fitbit one). It doesn't tracks activities like rowing, bicycling, swimming etc.
  • Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
  • I just finished 30DS. It was my first dvd ever. Till now my only exercise was walking and this, only for the last 5 months. Before February i was a totally sedentary, stay-at-home mother (65 kg/144 lbs), working in front of a computer for about 8-10 hours a day. I lost about 34 lbs. The first 24 lbs only with walking and…

  • Lost 34 lbs in 4 months -from February- with walking and logging my food. Eat healthy, burn more than you eat and keep walking. Do it, you have nothing to lose but fat! :)

  • I'm in level 3 day 2 (finished a moment ago). I was like you, no exercise at all and in front of a computer all day and the half of the night. It was like hell in the beginning. Now it's not easy but i'm stronger. I'm doing it 5 days a week with 2 rest days, usually at weekends or any day i need it.
  • Fitbit is adding every calorie from your daily activity to your BMR. Every step counts because for every step you burn calories. I use mine for 4 months. My main exercise is ...walking and fitbit one is built for this. It's VERY accurate, at least for me. I've lost these months 15.5 kgr/34 lbs simply subtracting from my…
