  • I love that saying: I'm on the eat less move more diet. Thank you Nita! Thank you Sue!
  • I love the pics! You are sporting a very nice tan too!! Great smile. Your progress is heartening. Thank you!!
  • Ed is in my thoughts and I am really pulling for him to get better soon. What a wonderful man. You two are such amazing love birds. Thank you!!
  • I love what you are doing. I hope to get to the point where I have a big donation of gig clothes soon! It's taking me longer since I'm older... and I will have a lot to sort through. There are emotional attachments to old stuff too, which is really ridiculous when I think about it. Thanks for your inspiration!
  • Great saying. I've recently added strength training to my routine. I've found so much inspiration from people on MFP who not only eat right, but exercise! As we get older "Use it or lose it" is even more critical.
  • It's a dirty trick that as we get older, we may become wiser (I only hope), but our bodies sure hold on to fat like we're in a famine. And women have it harder I think... although my husband struggles with his midlife middle. It doesn't want to go away no matter what. (We've been in "midlife" for awhile now.) I figured out…
  • Try a meal of protein and green vegetables. You could make a great salad with chicken and mixed greens, cucumber, green onions, avocado, tomato. Or you could use a hard-boiled egg and/or tuna instead of chicken. I find this fills me up and I don't get hungry for about three hours.
  • It depends on the fat content. You should see the cal and fat difference in the MFP database.
  • Wow and thanks for posting. You did a great job of losing the lbs and you look like a whole new person!
  • Keep up the great work!! You are an inspiration on top of it. Thanks for posting; this really helps the rest of us!
  • Terrific! Thanks so much for the inspiration and beautiful pics. I am so impressed.
  • Amazing! Great pics make the point.
  • You are AMAZING!! I can't thank you enough for taking the time to post your story and all your pictures. You are such an inspiration and such a beautiful woman. (Many exclamation points here!!!!!) I am so glad I found your post. This is truly one of the all time greats.
  • Hurray! I love your precise calculation. I think I better get measured again. Although, I might have shrunk and I don't want to know that! Great post. Thanks.
  • What you have accomplished and the way you did it is such an inspiration. Thank you so much. You are beautiful and now your beauty shows even more!
  • Mine is open. I agree. I really learn a lot from seeing what people are eating and how they are exercising.
  • Beans, beans, the magical fruit! The more you eat, the more you toot!! But seriously, you can't go wrong making up chili. Chili will take you a long way. And it's nutritious with lots of fiber and is real comfort food. I vote for chili with anything you want to throw in... carrots, onions, celery, you name it. Then on the…
  • Good luck to you! I've only been doing this for about 40 days and my main advice is to log your food and exercise every day. This seems to be the real core of making this work. MFP is awesome. Steady as you go. If you get too crazy and intense, then you could lose big... but you might gain it all back. Seems like keeping…
  • If you want to kill your cat, go ahead and try to change him into a Siamese. Lol. He's looking adorable as is. You might check out Royal Canin cat food. It's high grade and nutritious without added sugars and carbs. Some of the cheap cat foods that you get in grocery stores are not really that great for your pet.
  • You might take a look at the WebMD Asthma Community. Here is the URL: http://exchanges.webmd.com/asthma-exchange I know that exercise can exacerbate asthma under certain conditions. There is a very good article here: http://www.webmd.com/asthma/guide/exercise-induced-asthma Both of my kids have asthma even though my…
  • Dear Kim Jong-un: You are a nasty, ego-maniacal twerp. This wouldn't be so bad if it only affected you, and you didn't starve your people while you live in the lap of luxury. You are a spoiled brat. Why don't you point your nuclear arsenal at your own palace? The fireworks display would be most impressive. You would go…
  • Amazing! Your hard work is really showing. Thank you for being an inspiration!
  • Great post! I love your sense of humor too. All I can say is Wow!
  • You have such handsome features. It's amazing how losing the pounds makes your face stand out. Keep up the great work! I love hearing about supportive families too. Thanks for putting this out there.
  • The biggest, most important part of MyFitnessPal is tracking everything you put in your mouth, be it a burger, a fishwich, or a martini. You see everything you consume and track the effects. Tracking your exercise just makes this more effective. When you see the effects of fast food and how it appears in your daily…
  • Hmmm. I had VOSS water back in January when I stayed at a fancy hotel for a work test event. I wish I had that bottle now. I will have to look for it in the grocery around here. Very interesting, and I actually know what you mean.
  • Thank you for posting your progress and pics, underwear and all! You are an inspiration. Amazing what you are doing. AND heading off to college. Great work, can't say it enough!! For chips, you might try Pop Chips small bags. You can get them on Amazon. But be careful to only eat one bag no more than once per day. Also, to…
  • I found Nature's Way Alive! Pea Shake on Amazon. I was thinking of trying it after I use up my whey protein powder. I am also using HealthForce products like Vitamineral Green, which have very good ingredients.
  • Frame them. They make an interesting art statement.
