  • AWESOME! They're going on my playlist! Thx!
  • Awesome and good luck at the Con! I am a big fan of Super Dungeon Explorer! Hope you do well!
  • Good job on hitting week 4! The first 15min free form was rough! I walked quite a few times! By W4D3 I was much better! Keep it up!
  • AF Marathon? You may be in MY neck of the woods! I don't think you have to beat yourself up and be down on yourself. You just need to decide, like weightloss, like being sucessful at anything, like anything worth having, it WON'T HAPPEN OVER NIGHT. I ran for 2 years before running the Marine Corp Marathon when I was…
  • From the common consensus I have seen, Stevia is actually one of the prefered sweetners as it is natural. As I am told a serving does count as a carb due to the anti-caking agent. It's the same for splenda, nutrisweet, sweet & low, etc. I don't think that applys to liquid stevia, but I may well be wrong on that. Check over…

  • You know who the Zoms will eat first? People who set up your firewalls!! ;) The recommended freq is 3 times per week. This takes you from being able to walk for a little while and builds you up to be able to run a full 5K. Most people on a C25K plan are building from ground zero, so running every day would cause injuries.…
  • Right. OP asked for tips for being healthy at a Con. My tip is that rather than eating through out the day where I am not as good at tracking cals, I eat once a day where I only have to think about it for a short time. Sorry for not making that clear.
  • Howdy! I am Jim and I am on Week 7. I finished Day 1 today. I am building up to do at least one triathlon this year. I got a couple (*cough* 40) lbs to lose and I love the way ZR!5K builds you up. I did a different C25k a couple years ago and it was BORING! ZR!5K makes you look forward to the run! Jim
  • Okay... Here's what I do. I have done research and found that you don't need to eat 6 meals a day, or even three. During Cons I eat one meal a day. I don't short calories, but I eat them all in one meal. Before you attack me, here is my evidence... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9155494…
  • I have Amazon prime since I am an Amazon junkie and I love getting my crap within two days. I am not impressed with the video portion of Prime. I have yet to find something I was looking for. If I am browsing, I find stuff I wouldn't mind watching, but nothing that I was actually LOOKING for. I have Hulu Plus and Netflix…

  • Anyone can feel free to add me. I am doing my first tri (a sprint) in July. I am thinking of following it up with an olympic in Aug and another in Sept. I am a big boy and I hope to disqualify myself from the Clydesdale division before my first Olympic!
  • I am Jim and I am IN!! I am 41 and have just started training for my first Triathlon. One doesn't simply WALK into Mordor, so I'll swim, bike, and run there! I love the idea of the big map to mark my progress! Anyone got a link wo a decent (yet affordable) wall map?
  • Well? What do you think of the results? Not who I would have picked!! http://starwars.com/this-is-madness/index.html
  • Let me tell ya, when it's dusk and I'm running past the cemetary and the app does that zombie "bahwwwwheewwwwaaaaaa" thing, I SWEAR I could motor past Usain Bolt!
  • I have both Zombies! Run and Zombie 5K. I was pretty far into Zombies! Run when I got injured and am reahabbing my knee on Zombie 5K. The Z5K is a little different than the other C25K's I have seen. At times they will have you stop during the days exercise and do some heel lifts, or 1/2 squats. I don't think this is BAD…
  • My daughter got two goldfish last night. She named them Sherlock and Dr. Watson. She put a sign up on the tank that said "221-B Baker St" Some days your proud to be Dad!!
  • Doyle shouldn't have been killed! He should have gotten his own show!!
  • SEE!! It's not just me! BOB knows to keep running too!! ;)
  • Is it one that will make it to the table regularly, or is it an "every now and then" kinda game for your group?
  • There is a difference between book and TV. The books keep getting darker and darker. I was rooting for Tyrion and now am annoyed with him. Right now my favorite is "Cat of the Canals" Arya an I admit I have a thing for Asha Greyjoy.
  • My gaming group was looking at GoT tabletop as well. How do you like it?
  • I am picking Han over Boba Fett in the final. I wish they'd pass THIS bracket around at work!
  • I do the Zombie! 5K C25K program. The best motivation I have found is running after supper ( dusk into dark ) with a headlamp on the loop by my house. I live in the woods and run past a cemetary. THAT get's my heart pumping! When it says "Time to walk" there have been times when I have just kept running for a while longer!

  • Nothing wrong with 1 meal per day. Studies prove your metabolism is just as high on 1/day vs 6/day. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9155494 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19943985 And a NY Times article saying the same thing. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/23/health/23really.html?src=sch&pagewanted=all&_r=0
