It's okinomiyaki... like a cabbage pancake omelette thing... one of my favorite bachelor foods.

i don't mind my diary being stalked, but i do find it a little weird (and maybe flattering) when people comment on it. Like "those muffins sounded yummy" i wonder sometimes if people wonder how my food went together like flour, eggs, cabbage, onions, hp sauce and mayonaise. That's a meal for me, but what did it do?

My victory is that i took my shorts straight from the wash and they are too big. I'm difinitely a size 12 again! (down from a snug 18 after having my baby last july)

I was actually making fun of people who make fun of people who aren't as awesome as them. I don't get why the "pros" don't get why the "noobs" can't reach their calroie requirements.

when i don't eat meat or processed carbs it takes me a lot to get to 1500 calories in a day
-
I did mention that for the most part, i don;t project any of this on my kids. i was just giving eaxamples to see if anyone feels like there are goods and bads to the process. This week has been the week of needing a sarcasm font. I'm not lying to small children and telling that that soda is poison (although i stand by my…

Pop, lemonade, ice tea, etc are not poison. Aspertame is not food, and causes damage to your body and brain, therefore they are poison. Just because it doesn't kill you today (or ever) doesn't make it not poison. Take carbon monoxide. We are all exposed to it every day in varying amounts, most of us won't die of carbon…

And don't get me wrong, i don't feel like I'm ruining my kids, and i am consious of what i say around them, but there will always be some spill over. I want them to see that because of choices i have made in my past, i have to work harder now. I didn't go to college, now i have to work full time AND go to school, if i want…

we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

and i don;t impose my food restrictions on my kids. My restrictions aren't even restrictions. I try to speak to them of why certain foods are better for them than me; kids need more fat, it's for their developing brains. I try to steer them to healthier choices (10 & 12 yo boys - they would eat nothing but bagels and…

my husband used to hide his beer in the fridge in the RV for that reason. I think there is more to it than she wants peanut butter. I think she;s jealous that you are succeeding at making changes and she isn't? i would ask her to hide it in her room, but i doubt she will, this sounds like rebellion to me. sorry you're…

That is totally something my husband would do. He's guilty of the ceasar salad "because you are trying to eat better" The man DROWNS his salad in olive oil. oh well, it's his body, not mine

I don't offend easily. We are broke right now, but it's a temporary situation, there are families that live on less disposable income than i do, and they do it forever. I just hate that i end up needing things when we have the least money. I know i will buy my kids sandals and a bike before this stuff even hit my priority…

I'm not sure if i need to stop running until i can get shoes, i just don't want to ramp it up too much until i sort out the shoe problem. I'm doing job intervals on the c25k, taking it pretty slow since I'm still out of shape, never running more than 20 minutes with a 10 minute walk at this point. I think i will have to…

it looks almost chocolatey in the picture. Is that from the cinnamon? i bet this would be awesome with chocolate chips or even cocoa powder. i have some dying bananas. maybe the kids and i have a project tonight

I guess it's hard to communicate the sarcasm when i say my kids won't eat. I'm obviously not going to starve my kids so i can swim, i was just trying to say in my tongue in cheek way that i will have to make major sacrifices. I just mean i will have to budget carefully. I think the orthotics would be more or less…
-
i think the question would have been better put as "are there orthotics for runners?"

I forgot to get to my point: I would rather be thin with no boobs, than chubby with small boobs. the end
-
When i am chubby, I'm a smal C cup, maybe a B, so when i get thin I'm like thumbtacks in a pita bread. I'm tall and a defined waist, so I don't need boobs to have a feminine figure. I kind of like the hippy-that-doesn't-need-to-wear-a-bra look. (i mean like the youg cute hippies with small boobs, not the old ones with…

I started at 210 and lost about 15 lbs in the first month, i think your body is thanking you for giving it better food and shedding the stuff that was being held by salt and excess calories. Just don't get discouraged when you reach a plateau later down the road! I have been bounding around the same 5 lbs for weeks now,…

i don't log it because i know i drink enough, and i don;t care who sees how much i do or don't drink. It would help me get enough if i wasn't a water drinker, but i am, so i don't care

I'm a semi-veg and i hate vegetables! Try different ways of cooking them and find things that work for you. I LOVE soups, i just make them meat free so that they don't have a lot of calories. Start with onion carrot celery and go from there. I love just onions, garlic and mushroom soup. Carrot and squash soup, spinach…

You learn a lot about your friends. Sometimes people have been including you in your life because of low self confidence... When you are no longer the "fat friend" you might lose some of the mean girl friends, or the *kitten* you didn't realize was an *kitten* because he can't have you under his thumb anymore. (happened my…

I'm 33 with 3 boys, ages 12, 10 and 11 months! I'm not TRYING to get back in shape, i AM getting in shape! 10 lbs from my goal, lots of fitness to go. I am running - hope to do a 5 k in october. I'm riding a bike - will do a 200km ride in september. I'm hoping to start swimming in the fall, maybe take the three into a mini…

there will be ups and downs along the way, Every day you eat healthier adds years to your life, miles to your run and happiness you your awakenings!

I say I'm on the eat less move more plan.

I will go as far as a cheat meal, or a day that I know I will go over. For me its making a conscious choice to eat a 1,000 calorie meal (like today for example) knowing that I can't really reduce enough of my other meals to keep myself under. todays indiscretion are related to yesterday's athletic feats... I think if you…

The first time i got healthy, the bad thing that happened was i got confident enough to realize that the dirtbag loser i was seeing was going to get me nowhere in life so i dumped him. A little too much "fun" ensued, but i came out the other end fine

They are not game over gross, but the texture is weird, they are also really hard to flavor, you almost have to soak them overnight in seasoning. Sauce doesn't stick to them either... I vote for not worth it, just have a noodle-less stir fry
