I would look at maybe upping your protein intake too, that helps me a lot with muscle soreness and recovery. Can't see your diary so I can't comment too much but I aim for 100/125g a day min.

Your daily goal includes the deficit you initially entered when you set you goal, so if you chose to lose 1lb a week and MFP set your cals to 1200 then you need to NET 1200. MFP figures are low, if you are training hard you can and should consume a lot of protein. It helps in many different ways, I have found it really helps muscle soreness too which is a big plus!, I hit 200g + some days which isnt quite 1g per lb for me but 1g per lb is what a lot of people aim for during intense training.…

First round was classic for me, hit a bit of a plateau with my weight loss towards the end of it (was still losing inches) so mixing it up with Insanity now but you will be on fire by the time you finish round 1!!, ready to hit round 2 with classic!
