The outside world. I work in a data center so this is a very foreign, frightening concept to us :p Sushi fan?

I love this thread! So much love and support! ^_^ SW: 140 CW: 133 GW: 125 CBF = 23% GBF = 18% [longterm] 21% by April! As I'm looking to gain lean muscle, my goals for weight may fluctuate when I get closer to my BMI and BF goals. Seeing as how I dropped 0.2% in February without taking much mind to what I ate and working…

Much congratulations, that is AWESOME! I'm personally looking to get a similar physique, (lean muscle) I'm currently 5' 6", and 133 pounds. My BMI is about 21.6, and I'm looking to get around 18. What would you suggest for someone who doesn't have a lot of weight to lose, but needs to get rid of some of that "fluff" and…

Good for you! And I'm a little confused on your mantra-- by that logic, the only things you could logically "eat" would be water and... well, cats... :P

Borderline Personality, Anxiety, and Seasonal Depression. Working out has definitely helped kick the SD, but anxiety and the BPD usually make me panicky about working out in front of people, and not want to even bother, because I'm just going to give up, and if I miss a day, I have to wait until the next week to start…

He raises a good point... If you were doing housekeeping, you would put into MFP that you're "active" or even "very active", and it would take that into consideration to calculate your TDEE. THEN you would get your calorie and macro limits, and create a defecit from there... For example, I have a desk job, so my daily…

@tinuz I think senseless, or any other variation of words ending in "less" would have been more appropriate... Also, you know me so well :P

Awesome work! I was struggling to squeeze into my size 7 jeans for a long while, and I'm finally comfortable in a 5/6 again. (5's a still a bit too snug, but getting there!) All that time, however, the number on the scale never did change too much... Hooray for NSV!! :)

I'm sure it's been said, but honestly the biggest one, is excuses...

@Tonydevolani_ Let me guess.... trolling?

@tinuz -- Staring wistfully off into space whilst calculating the best angle at which to propel himself to pull off the perfect backflip

(since we're less guessing, more stating the obvious) taking selfies while running topless, lathered in baby oil to enhance that "sweaty look"

I'm currently at 42, which is certainly the longest I've made it, heh. Definitely proud though, cause it means I'm working at it! ;)

I'm 23 years old, 5 foot 6, 133 pounds, and right now I'm at 23% body fat... So considering you're 2 inches taller and approximately 10 pounds heavier, unless that's ALL muscle, I have a hard time believing that calculator was accurate...

ONE little cheat meal (or day) is not going to cause your entire progress scheme to come tumbling down in a blaze of failsauce... It's your birthday, girlfriend-- live it up! Cheat days are honestly healthy, when done within reason. They keep you from going crazy and snapping and just decided to flip desk and say to hell…

No, not me! Never ;P Favorite quote?

21 Fix is really great, especially if you're just getting started. I wasn't a huge fan of the videos, but I'm personally more of a weightlifter/jog on the treadmill kind of gal. I'm not a big fan of following videos in the first place. But I did the plan, and stuck (more or less) to the nutrition plan, and I still saw…

Your numbers do seem a little low... I'm 5' 6", 133 pounds, and according to MFP (to lose 1 pound/week) I should be eating 1200. I bumped it up to 1400 last week, and approx 2.5 weeks ago, I was at 137, so I'm clearly still losing. I think you should definitely be a little closer to 2,000. Try cross referencing, and…

I'd have to say on our family trip to Canada-- getting a flat tire, my sister getting stuck in the high chair at McDonalds (actually, that was hilarious, she was like, 10), the fire alarm in the hotel going off at 2am while my parents were at the casino and I was supposed to be babysitting; the fire alarm going off AGAIN…

Pardon the french, but DAMN! You go girl-- truly an inspiration! :D

This times a million. I'm sure it's beating a dead horse at this point, but my goodness-- please listen to the voices of reason here... I'm 5' 6", 133 pounds, and I recently upped by calorie goal from 1200 to 1400 because I constantly felt hungry and wasn't losing any weight... Since I increased my calorie goal (and…

I hear your pain, I do. But the unfortunate truth is that Rome wasn't built in a day, and any excuses they may have had needed to be cast aside in order to get *kitten* done. Same goes for getting in shape. I have an hour drive to work 4 days a week, 10 hours a day, then another hour home and fortunately the gym is only an…
