I'm sedentary - I work a desk 5 days a week for 40+ hours, my deficit is set to 1200. I usually eat back my walking calories up to 1300 but not my running ones as I see it as a bonus I guess.

I started running - from week 1 of dieting nothing big. The couch to 5k program. I run 3times a week now. I don't eat those calories back.

You are genuinely happy being denied a gym membership - paid for by your hubby or the means to buy your own by having a job? I don't know you but if that was me my self esteem would suffer

Thanks - so just keep things the same for now in terms of diet. Keeping the carbs & fats & protein on balance. For the bike my rides are about 45-50km and takes me around 2 hours. I'll log it as a light ride & eat back a little less. I'll try eating back 1/4 of them?
