I do both... I have goals for myself and then I reward myself when I reach them. One of my goals was a new workout outfit at one point, another was new bras and jeans, and the next goal I'll hit will be new running shoes! With that said, I totally have clothes in my closet I can't wait to fit back into. My favorite jeans…

When I make recipes on here I'll add them, since I'll likely use them again and I try to be accurate as possible. However, if I add some table salt to a meal, I don't add it, even though I know it contributes to sodium... So, I pick and choose I guess :|

I've been using Nivea's Skin Firming body lotion. It seems to be helping aid my skin go back.. but staying hydrated seems to be helping a lot too.

This. I plateaued for a couple years when my focus went to cardio instead of strength training. And if this is the case and you are interested in starting lifting, know that when people say to lift "heavy" it means heavy for you... which will change as you get stronger :)

Ditto. I have always tracked my weight and measurements and when I stopped doing strength training, I lost weight but my body fat percentage went up... and up :(

I have to agree that this isn't about your husband, it's about you. I've been "skinny" most of my life, but I hated my body and therefore always felt insecure about how I looked to my husband. However, even now that I'm heavier, I can tell a difference in my happiness and our relationship because I'm happier with myself.…

WWMD? is what I always ask! (What would Martha do?) http://www.marthastewart.com/955990/roasted-beets

Congrats! I feel like that was yesterday for me and it's actually been nine weeks since I hit that milestone but now I'm closing in on a NORMAL BMI! Keep up the great work!

Oh, I would, as a reward for GW. I'm all sorts of frugal, but give my butt and legs some good jeans and I'll throw you the money, lol! Plus, practically speaking, if they're quality jeans, you'll get your money's worth out of them.

I wouldn't log it. I agree, I can get a good workout in cleaning, but I gained weight while keeping a clean house. It's the same with shopping sprees, walks around the park with my kid, etc. If I did it when I was gaining/maintaining a heavier weight, I don't count it. Those are just parts of life for me, not "exercise".

I did a courthouse wedding, but it was technically in an insurance company building... I don't regret it at all but my husband and I have talked about renewing our vows sometime and it would be then that I would like to wear a dress (I wore jeans and a blouse at our wedding) but it would still be just the two of us...…

I'm a hairstylist and I know there's a lot of "gossip" that *can* go in salons, but I think it all comes down to the person. And I happen to think my mom was right when she told me that the ones with the meanest things to say, are usually the most insecure. If someone gossips to me, I change the subject as quickly as…

I think you look awesome and I think you're rockin' that bikini!

For me, anything dairy... gag. Or on an empty stomach, green tea or black coffee. Also gag.

You definitely seem to be in an unhealthy mental state in regards to your body but having been there myself, I know the feeling. Looking back to when I thought I was so gross and fat, I wish I would have picked up heavier weights (at the time I think the heaviest dumbbells I used were 8lbs). Being concerned about numbers…

I went into a store that had plus size on one side and regular sizes on the other. The girl working there came up to me as I was browsing on the regular side and asked if I had been there before and told her I hadn't. She quickly pointed me to the plus-sized side. I was hugely offended, despite knowing I was teetering on…

I've been steadily losing weight since December and I know I've had "slip-ups" but they're mostly planned. I look at this as a lifestyle change but I still want my lifestyle to involve ice cream and whiskey, lol, so I plan for those. If I know my hubby and I are going to drink on the weekend, I might cut some calories…

The first step is admitting you're ready to do this for yourself. And you seem to have done that, so congratulations! The forums are a great source of information and most everyone here is helpful if you are just specific with your questions. Keep in mind that what works for some people may not work for you. There might be…

I have a bathing beauty suit from Modcloth and I LOVE it.

I can see it too! Great job, mama!

Yes, I was really successful the first time doing the entire program and enjoyed it, so I thought a second go would be okay. :) Thank you!

I'm no expert but I've dealt with low blood sugar my entire life. Looking at your diary, the fruit stands out to me, since it's a bit higher on the glycemic index. I don't tolerate carbs well either but I find that eating lower glycemic foods throughout the day helps steady my blood sugar. I hate to push a diet book but I…

I'm on my second round of the LiveFit trainer. I've lost over 10% body fat and 26 pounds! With that said, I still have a ways to go and my "problem areas" like my mummy tummy and bat wings are still there, lol. However, they look a lot better than when I first started. And I am shrinking all over, so it's just a matter of…

Careful... don't burn yourself out on the same salad! I've done that too many times, gotta keep it fresh (no pun intended!). Lol.

I eat a lot of eggs and cheese... and lettuce. Haha. Why? Because I like eggs and cheese and lettuce too. :D

I vote for tattoos!

I'm only 26 but I'm noticing a looseness in my skin around my neck, breasts, and stomach. I've read that it can take up to two years for the skin to regenerate itself to fit your new shape, so I would just continue using appropriate skin-firming products, stay hydrated, and be proud of your weight loss!

I'm currently in a bra with a larger cup size but it's also a different brand. Plus when you change band sizes, the cup sizes kinda fluctuate too, so I wouldn't say your boobs have actually gotten bigger. I find that I lose my boobs slowly, they're pretty big to begin with, but at a certain point, they just leave…
