That sucks! Well, on the plus side, he's 16 not 6, so in a couple of years he'll be free to make his own decisions. I'm sure he'll want to spend some time with his dad at some point - hopefully he'll get away from the influence of his mother.

If you make jar salads, the dressing goes in first, then you add the things that either are improved with dressing (pasta, quinoa etc) or things that won't absorb it (hard veggies like peppers, cucumbers etc). The salad leaves go on top, well away from the dressing, so they don't get soggy.

Aw, no fun! I much preferred that option! I think I already posted here about how my mum once fed my dad a 'beefy chunks in gravy' type canned dog food. He said it tasted ok and they only realised later when she looked at the can more closely!

The recipe on my jar of PB said 1 cup PB, 1/2 cup sugar and one egg. I made a half batch (whisked the egg, weighed it and removed half). It was quite wet so I also added a TBS flour to make it the right consistency. 325 for 15 mins. Made 6 cookies. They were really good warm, not bad this morning and won't be good…

Yikes! Sorry to hear that - I really hope the meds will work quickly for you. Have you had any other symptoms? I've heard that can really knock you out, so it's good that you're getting it treated now.

I'm not very good with fashion. I'd dearly love to be stylish, but usually dress like a 7 year old boy (jeans and stripy t-shirt today) or a 70 year old woman (flowery shirts). I own a lot of stripy t-shirts and flowery shirts. And jeans.
