  • Skipped yesterday to run insted, it was too gorgeous outside! Will pick it back up with Level 2 Day 9 tonight. Hope everyone is doing well! Cass -that beach body one sounds fun! I love zumba :)
  • I was a member for a year. they make you sign a 1 yr contract and I was told there were no freezes allowed-later told that I could have... Shady management. I don't really think it is worth the $ unless you have a discount from your medical insurance-I got $20 off if I went 12 x/month. They charged $39.95 before the…
  • I started level 2 last night. It was hard but doable. I know I couldn't go as fast as Jillian but I knew I needed to step it up from L1. So today is D8L2 for me. I think I'll be on L2 for a while to build up. Hope everyone is doing well!
  • I didn't put my starting measurements in here yet so here they are: SW: 144 Waist: 35 Hips: 38.5 Bust: 32.5 Thigh: 20.5 Arm: 11.5 Hoping to lose inches in the waist and arms to feel confident in a sleeveless dress :)
  • i HATE those side lunge things too and pushups aren't my fave. I love the cardio stuff, I am all like YES i CAN do this! lol love me some butt kickers ;-)
  • Sassy is right, take measurements as you'll prob see the difference there sooner. I heard from a friend who finished this last month that she didn't really see a loss until the month was over and then had a huge loss of 4 lbs. Don't give up hope, it's building a lot of muscle :)
  • I took measurements to start out. I realized I hadn't done them in a while and found I had lost 2 inches in the waist, 1.5 in the hips, 1 in the bust and .5 in the arm. I am excited to see even more results from this program!
  • Completed L1D5 today and it felt great! I can tell that I am getting stronger. might bump up to level 2 to see how that one goes as I feel I have accomplished level 1. Keep up the good work everyone!!
  • Will be skipping it today to go for a run instead. preparing for a 5k in a couple weeks. I will make sure to get in L1D5 tomorrow morning before work. I will be taking Saturday off - but it looks like that is the norm. Will be doing lots of yardwork =raking, pulling weeds etc for my church. Hang in there everyone, we can…
  • Completed day 4 this morning. I am sore and feeling it. Did not feel like doing it again today but hopefully I'll get stronger. Hope everyone is doing well!
  • Good job Mandi!
  • Cass have you tried making sloppy joes with ground turkey or chicken instead? Then you can still have it but w/o the guilt! I'm planning on that for my saturday lunch this weekend at my aunt's house. we are having a get together and she is making that with fresh fruit and vegetables, I am making this sugar free jello with…
  • Hi everyone! My name is Kelly and I started this on Saturday so I'm on day 3 after taking yesterday off. I have never done it before but so far so good. I am 30 and married with no kids, YET! That was the point of losing weight, so I could have a heathly pregnancy. I'd like to lose about 7-8 more lbs and hoping this will…
  • Started it on Saturday ( a day early) but missed it yesterday. I did get in a run though which I'm happy about since I have a 5k in two weeks! Will do again tonight and everyday for the next 28 days! I knew it was going to be hard but it was not quite as bad as I thought it would be. I am still at level 1 but will prob…
  • How will y'all log this activity in mfp?
  • I'll join in! I was looking for a good challenge and have been meaning to start this. I am attending a wedding at the end of September and want to wear this hot pink dress but right now it looks a little lumpy on me :( Maybe I will post a pic of me in it as the before and again at the end as the after. Looking forward to…
  • In for the advice. I am an avid cyclist and have the same problem. Only I am unable to wear contacts or have the lasik surgery. I am stuck with glasses for now. I normally wear Rx sunglasses when I ride, I'm not even sure what I would do if I tried to do a tri!
  • Hi I can't believe I haven't found this thread before. I am excited to join in on the fun, I love to ride my road bike and cruiser bike around town. I cant remember what I rode last week so I'll just start with this week; 8/12 - 7 miles 8/13 - 6 miles Total: 13 miles so far. I am riding 27 on 8/25 so I want to build up to…
  • Anyone can feel free to add me, my diary is open to friends. I have lost almost 50 lbs and want to lose another 10-15 to get to goal :)
  • Major transformation! Congratulations on your sucess, you look amazing!
  • I remember hearing about this on the local news. I am so sorry for your loss. But happy that it inspired you to lose weight and get fit. You look amazing, kudos to you and the wife for making this transformation together!
  • OMG I did basically the same thing. I was having chest pains so I went to urgent care. They ran all kinds of tests to find out it was heart burn! LOL. This was before my weight loss so I can understand completely how this scared you. Feel free to add me, I log in daily and have lost 47 lbs using weight watchers and this…
  • This^ Cut out the fast food - full of oil/grease. Try eating clean for a week and I'm sure your face will clear up, you'll probably have a good weight loss too! good luck :)
  • Panera - choose the vegetable pesto soup or black bean, they are the lowest in cals. I also really like the thai chopped salad too but don't know the nutritional info. They have all that on their website :) Enjoy!
  • ^This! So I have about 9 or 10 but I need more
  • I originally met my husband when I was 13 - he was friends with my older brother. We then ended up working together at McDonalds when I was 16 and he was 20. We started flirting and I ended up asking him out. We've been together ever since - 14 years this fall and married for 4 of it!
