  • Mine only went down maybe 1 cup size but it's hard to tell since the band is way smaller. I used to wear a 40DDD at my larges and now wear a 34DDD. I was a DD at one point though, some people just carry more fat there and that is why they lose there. For me it's all just breast tissue so it's not really going anywhere. You…
  • I'm 5'1" but a big busted, framed girl so I find my 'comfortable' weight is around 135. I am 146 now so I've got about 10 to go after losing 45 -started at 190 a few years back. I can't imagine getting below that #, never been that low in my adult life. I am more focused on being strong and healthy rather than skinny.
  • try jillian michaels DVD killer buns and thighs, there is a lot of variations to leg workouts in that dvd.
  • I like rewarding myself with me time - relaxing bubble bath, paint my nails or read a book :)
  • Maybe if you did approach them and befriend them then they might decide to come back. Give them a reason to keep coming back, new health minded friends! That's one thing that kept me from quitting - new friends to help keep me accountable :)
  • I've done both and was not successful here on MFP. I don't know why either bec I was using online only for WW. The first time I did ww I lost 55 lbs and was only 5 lbs away from goal. I quit bec I couldn't afford it anymore. I just joined WW again about 5 weeks ago and have lost almost every week, down about 10 lbs. I know…
  • I need some suggestions too. I usually just have to wear two if I'm doing anything high impact like running. I only have one that I like that works well by itself and it's from Victoria's Secret. I will have to look into some of these other suggestions, thanks ladies!
  • They are ok, pretty basic as far as equipment but I just couldn't justify spending $40/month for access. Good thing I got $20 reimbursed every month from my insurance provider. Convenience was the only reason I joined
  • It's a hard change but doable. You have to consider it a lifestyle change and not just a diet. I only started changing the way I ate first and then started with exercising after I lost about 15 lbs. Feel free to add me as a friend, I have an open diary to friends so you can get ideas from me if you'd like
  • Just saw this thread, haven't been keeping track of my miles for the month but will for the rest. Plan on riding tonight at the gym on the spin bike
  • I am looking for the same, feel free to add me. I too have an open diary to friends and have the same problem-remebering to post my day! Good job on your success thus far!
  • Our 5k is coming up fast!! Who's ready??
  • SO I thought I'd take a break from the running so I did my bike instead last night and man am I out of shape for that!! LOL. So I did that for a half an hour and then got on the treadmill and ran for a mile straight! I think I have a better pace when I'm not listening to music with my mp3 player. I need to dig out my…
  • I hear you, too cold to do this outside. mine is on a treadmill too. WOW that is a great time!! Keep up the good work, I am at about 40 minutes for only 3 miles so I know there is room for improvement, trying hard everyday. nothing is easy with this weight loss stuff ;) chin up!
  • WOW sweetmommy - that is a high incline for running on the treadmill! Good job! Sorry I've been MIA lately folks. I usually run at a 2 level incline and a 5.4 speed, although I seem to run faster outdoors. TOO BAD it's still way too cold to run outside. Highs only in the single digits all week. guess I'm stuck on the…
  • Welcome nlplace! I'd MUCH rather be running outside but subzero temps aren't my friend! LOL high of only 6 degrees today so I'll be running on my treadmill INSIDE Thank you! LOL. How's everyone doing??
  • thanks for the tip!!
  • good job nlplace! welcome :)
  • Ran and walked on the treadmill last night and it felt great! I did 2.4 miles in 33 minutes. I know there is room for improvement but I realize I'm still working on it and building up strength.
  • I didn't do ANY activity yesterday, instead slipped into a pizza coma with digiornos lol. Today I am planning on running on the treadmill after work. SO happy I have my own now!
  • Understandable molinette. the 5k is just 45 days away people :))
  • WOW I am so happy you all found my group! I am stuck inside on a treadmill too jillybean. I've only ran a few 5ks - I want to beat my time and started this group as a way to reach my weight loss goals. There are a couple first timers here wanting advice. I am NO expert but can tell you a few things I've learned - start…
  • I have heard to do weights/lifting first and then cardio so that you burn more calories during your cardio workout. Don't know if this is true or not but heard it from a good source :)
  • OK I have completed the 30DS! Overall I didn't really lose any weight which I am disapointed in but I did lost inches! This week's weight loss -1.4 Measurements: Waist -.5 Hips -.5 Bust -1 Arm -.5 Thigh -1.5 Don't know why I always lose so much more in my thighs first, it's annoying because my stomach is my problem area. I…

  • Edy's slow churned rocky road and skinny cow ice cream sandwiches :)
  • I only either have 3 lb weights or 10 lbs so I use the 3 lbs. I need to invest in some 5 lbs tho!
  • Thanks Jenlarson75! I had weigh in today and lost a pound so I'm happy with that. Skipped the 30 DS yesterday in leiu of my 5k but back at it again today. Level 2 is kicking my booty! LOL
  • This ^ I had hair loss after my weight loss, my weight loss was very slow though. I lost it over a year and a half -about 50 lbs. then I started seeing the loss. I decided to go to a dermotologist. She thought it was due to the weight loss (Ive been overweight my entire life) so my body didn't know what was going on. She…
