Sure. I'm in. 6 down already. ;)

Knock it all ya want, SOME back fat CAN be breast tissue. I was an enormous cup size for years, and even had to special order my bras through catalogs. To save money, I frequently bought less-expensive but ill-fitting bras. Because they cut into my breasts, some of my tissue really did migrate to my armpit area and…

Pottermore.com sorted me into Gryffindor, but I've always believed myself to be a Ravenclaw. :)

Short answer: yes. Water exercise has helped me lose weight. I water jog 2 hours a day, 3 or 4 days a week. It was a great way to get started with vigorous exercise when my knees couldn't handle jogging on land, but I needed more challenge than just walking. I jog in water between my waist and my chest, so the resistance…

4 1/2 months. Besides watching my intake, I've done outdoor walking, jogging on my rebounder (mini trampoline), and then once I felt able I ramped it up and started walk/jog/run intervals on the rebounder. I also did the 30 Day Shred, and am now in the middle of JM's 30 Day Slim Down workout rotation. Oh, and I throw in…

Yes. This. All pizza is not created equal. I make mine from scratch - whole wheat dough, unsweetened tomato sauce, tons of veggies, and TUNA. Yes, I said it. A nice flaky tuna and a smidgen of olive oil make a great, protein-rich, heart-healthy pizza topping. (I ate it in Germany the first time - I was skeptical, but it…

I am doing the 30 Day Slim Down, which rotates 30 Day Shred, Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, and No More Trouble Zones. I have to say that 30DS and NMTZ are great, challenging workouts, but BFBM just kills my knees. Waaaaaaay too much jumping to be able to do this video more than once a week - at best. However, I do like the…

I started this on Monday (4/29) after having finished the 30DS a week prior. Today was Day 3, No More Trouble Zones, and it kicked my butt! I'm actually looking forward to a "break" with 30DS tomorrow, LOL!

YES! Leslie Sansone has many videos available on YouTube that you can do in the privacy of your own home, and put as much or as little effort into it as you are able. I really recommend her workouts!

Monday - 30 Day Shred & 45-60 minutes cardio Tuesday - 30DS Wednesday - 30DS & cardio Thursday - 30DS Friday - 30DS & cardio Saturday - light cardio Sunday - rest BUT on Monday I am starting the Jillian 30-Day Slim Down, which rotates 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism workout videos.

I'm starting this program on April 29 (so most of my rest days fall on Sunday, lol). All of the videos can be found on YouTube. ALSO - "Quick Trouble Zones" is the warm up, circuits 1/3/4, and cool down from "No More Trouble Zones." I'm finishing up the 30 Day Shred this week, so I'm really looking forward to this new…

I'm using 5 pounds, except 10 pounds for the Level 1 chest flys, and 8 pounds on the Level 3 squat/one-arm lift. I'm only 3 days into Level 3.

Make your own! We do a batch every weekend - and even with adding our own fruit, it costs less than HALF than the brands in the store. Tastes better, too.

I went cold turkey New Year's Day. To combat the headaches, I started drinking weak, unsweetened iced tea. Lots and lots of tea. Now I'm down to just 1 or 2 glasses of iced tea a day. No sugar, no artificial sweeteners. I can't even sip at soda. Like a drug addict, I'll relapse. Seriously. My addiction is that bad.

Turkey - We use ground turkey for taco salad and for burgers, and sweet Italian turkey sausage with pasta. Lean beef - We use nice steak cuts for kebabs and steak bakes. Lamb, bison, pork, there are lots of lean and nutrient-packed meats available if you look.

I'm doing modified all the way - right now I'm on Level 2. My plan is to get all the way through once, then go back and do it again with fewer modifications and slightly heavier weights, and possibly a third time. BTW, I am also taking Sundays off to recover. I am losing weight faster since I added 30DS to my regular…

I'm 255 and on Day 9 of Level 1. Yes, I have to modify the moves to accommodate my knees (wall push-ups, very shallow squats and lunges, and so on). But I am able to do more today than I could on Day 1. Much more! I even bumped up my weights for most of the exercises already. I do it 6 days on, 1 day off to allow some…

I started WW in mid-January, and MFP in February. But since I started ACTIVELY working to lose weight and get fit, January 1, I've lost 29.5 pounds, for a 10.35% weight loss. I'm on my way!

Absolutely. As a family, we sit down on Saturday evening or Sunday morning to plan our meals for the coming week. (I even print our menu out and post it on the fridge with a great big "DEAL WITH IT"!) We write it ALL down, and stick to the list. It keeps junk food out of the pantry, and the kids know what they can snack…

I have rewards set up all along the way... At 50 pounds down, I get an hour-long professional massage. (That should help my achy everything from doing Jillian Michaels workouts!) At 75, I get a facial. And at 100 I get a half-day at the spa. I am making it a point to focus on my well-being, and allow myself rewards that…

28 pounds down since the New Year, including 5 pounds down since starting MFP in February. And I still have 107 to go! I'd love to have friends in the same boat so we can work together to reach our goals.

Smaller chains like RoadRunner Sports (if you have them near you) or a boutique running store are a good place to get fitted. They should help you out whether you buy there or not. As for recommending a shoe, I can't do that for you. There are too many factors to consider, and what works for me may not work for you.…
