You are simply radiant! Congratulations.

Couch to 5k has literally taken me from 230 pound couch potato one year ago to a fitness minded 160 pounder, running 3-4 miles 3 times a week now. And I can't even believe it myself! I didn't use an app, but I have heard that there are a few really helpful apps for your phone to help with the interval timing. Good luck!…

That is unbelievable!! Great job!

Good for you!!! I am sending you a friend request. I can use more people like you in my life!

Thank you!! I am in desperate need of a detox! The holidays didn't affect my weight, but boy, did they ever affect my choices. And my body can definitely tell. Back on the wagon today!

You look fabulous!! Thanks for inspiring me every day. : )

I just changed my info. I think I'm going to really like seeing all of that green!! It seems like it will motivate me to stick with my goals a little better and help me break this stupid plateau. I've always responded better to positive reinforcement. : )

I try to eat a well rounded diet and nothing is truly off limits with the exception of potatoes and pasta. They are gateway drugs for me!! If I don't eat them, I don't want them. But if I eat them, I want nothing more than MORE potatoes and pasta. And I also never, never drink calories.

I too, totally understand your hesitation. I was overweight for so many years that I thought it was just who I was meant to be. Now that I am down 70 pounds and realize that person is gone forever, it's almost as if getting rid of all of "her" clothes puts a final nail in the coffin. I used to have the "fat clothes", the…

Love this song!!

I think it's awesome that you are doing this 5K! I have found the thing about runner's is this: No one judges anyone else! In general, the running community is very supportive of each other because we all know that its HARD to run your fastest, no matter what "your" fastest is. Oftentimes at 5ks, the people who are…

Oh and I also love Remember the Name by Fort Minor and Lose Yourself by Eminem.

Cannot finish a run without Jorge Quintero's 300 violin orchestra! Seriously, it's that "close your eyes and get in the zone" song for me. Makes me want to go tackle somebody like Ray Lewis and then bang my chest! And I'm a girly girl! : )

Awesome! You know, I've never gotten up and done the workout and then thought "Man, I wish I had stayed in bed."

Holy abdominals, Batman!! I think we should ALL listen to the guy with the awesome abs!

I knew it would involve peanut butter. : )

Bumpity-bump! My kind of fall dessert!

As the "person in charge" making a million little decisions all day, everyday I totally get this. Makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing. That was a very informative article.

The bread lover in me is jumping for joy!

It truly is one small decision after another that end up making a HUGE difference. Good job! I did the same thing with cookies that I baked for a friend's birthday yesterday. Two cookies, savored tiny bite after tiny bite and then I was done and completely satisfied. I also had no guilt about indulging myself since I…

I know I'm way late to the party, but I guess I'll chime in anyway. : ) I am a 42 year old mom of three teenagers. (ages 18, 16, 14) I decided on Dec. 28, 2010 that I was finally going to focus on me and get myself out of this terrible shape that I had just "tolerated" for the last 15 or so years. I have lost 56 pounds to…

Great job!! I just started Turbofire yesterday and this is exactly what I needed to see. By the way, I loved the first workout but I did have a little trouble following the steps exactly. Did it take a couple of times before you could get all the steps correct? Or am I just terribly uncoordinated? : )

For what it's worth, my personal opinion is that eating breakfast is learned behavior for some people. I have never had a problem with my appetite (morning, noon or midnight, LOL) but my husband has never eaten breakfast until the last few months. He is a competitive power lifter and he decided that in order to get enough…

Thanks for putting all of that great info in one place!

Hi, there! I also had 80 pounds to lose (started at 222 and have a goal of 140) and have lost 55 since Dec. 28, 2010. You CAN do it!! Feel free to add me as a friend as well.

Amazing results!!! You look great!

I feel the need to go out and RUN!!

The first few days of tracking your calorie intake are always eye openers. I have to log my food periodically throughout the day in order to make sure that I allot a proper number of calories for the evening. Otherwise, I will go over with dinner every time. I have also discovered which foods are going to fill me up…
