agreed... i'm 5'4" and eat 1800 in my cutting phase.

don't eat just 1200 calories. calculate your TDEE and CUSTOMIZE your caloric intake. 1200 is ridiculous for anyone

i'd keep increasing calories slowly, not maintenance. also do weight training... they rev up metabolism

just let the people who think 1200 calories a day and cardio only continue on their merry way. once they get metabolic damage and/or adrenal fatigue, maybe they'll rethink it.

I eat 1800 calories on MY CUTTING PHASE. 1200 is insanely low and not healthy. this stops your metabolism and keeps the weight on you. workout and raise your metabolism so you can eat more, healthily!!!

ipod, extra pair of headphone, gym card, an extra baggy of BCAAs, extra hair ties, lifting gloves, blender bottle (filled with BCAAs). oh and chap stick. that's it :/ lol

i go for things i can't find anywhere else --> coconut flour, unsweetened coconut, flaxseed. their "snacks" aren't great cause they still have added sugars (cookies, granola, etc) just cause its whole foods doesn't make it all healthy. trader joes has my raw almond butter i don't find anywhere else too...

i would say go by measurements. i've gained weight from muscle and have leaned out a lot compared to before. but, something not right if you're not seeing a difference... calories could be too high or even too low

don't feel bad i was wasted on our wedding night. my corset for that night didnt even get worn lol

i am 25 :) would like to stay at this age for a while if i could. 26 is where it gets scary lol

lol! i don't have snacks stashed per say (i try and homecook EVERYTHING - i'm a weirdo) but if i know it's a long day ill bring containers of veggies and apple cider with chicken or ground turkey with sweet potatoes, and i always carry homemade protein muffins to school/work in case i get hungry.

as for cardio, it depends what your goal is overall. don't stop running if the race is your goal.
