I have heard that once you lose 10 pounds, MFP asks if you would like to adjust your caloric intake. I dont know for sure because I haven't gotten there yet!

Make a lot of salads and have all your veggies pre-cut. I cut up my broccoli and cauliflower right after I get home from the store and I keep it in large zip-lock bags. It seems to keep longer too. I know how you feel. I have 2 feet of snow in my yard and its depressing. But keep exercising because it'll help you feel better and on the good days, get outside and go for a walk!

I finally figured it out too and I am glad I did! I eat my workout calories and I've already lost 1 pound and I haven't even been on this site a week!

I wonder the same thing myself but I think the point behind it is if you are only eating 1200 calories a day, then you burn 600 in a workout, you are in theory only giving your body 600 calories to live off. I hear ya! I've been stuck at 165 for the past month, and I have been exercising since boxing day and making a better effort at eating better but nothing is moving yet. I guess all we can do is just stick to it and hopefully things will change soon. Good luck!

I started at the same weight as you, exactly one year ago! Try going to your library and see if they have any workout DVDs. Thats what I did to start and it was great! It was a great way to save money and you get a nice variety of workouts to do in the privacy of your home. Also, just being aware of what you are eating…
