You should log your entire workout, even when interval training.

Congratulations!!!!

I go every morning at the same time (work allowing) during the week and then Saturday morning and early on Sunday afternoon. On my rest days I usually stay away from the gym unless I am just going to use the hot tub or hang out by the pool.

I have read a lot of places about BMI it doesn't take in account for your body type or physical make up. Bodybuilders all fall in the obese range. Concentrate more on your body fat %. For me to be "healthy" at 6'3" I am supposed to weigh no more than 200 lbs. I remember 200 and I was nothing but skin and bones.

Sounds delicious!

Great job everyone!

I like the Silk Soy Vanilla milk. Has 80 cal but tastes great.

Good Luck! Happy weight loss!
-
Yep I am guilty as well! I gotta have some enjoyment! LOL

Try taking body measurements. If you are working out you should see a difference week to week in this. I didn't lose any weight last week but I lost in my waist and hips. Fat takes up more room than muscle and muscle weighs more than fat....so if you only lose a little, but lose inches you are doing just fine.

You look amazing! Sure your kids and husband are extremely proud of you.
-
Good luck to you! I have found the best thing to do is be accountable for everything you eat. Also, make sure you are taking in at least 1200 calories even after exercise or you will plateau. I stayed under 1200 without replenishing my exercise calories and only lost .6 lbs one week, and then then next week I stayed over…

I have decided the best thing to use is your HRM for caloric burn. Before I got my HRM I used whatever the elliptical said and sometimes it was several hundred calories less that what MPF said. What MPF doesn't take in account is the intensity that you workout at, and your HRM does. Yesterday I did 65 min on the elliptical…

Just go for it! Not knowing sucks. Just go up and ask him out. What is the worst that could happen? If he says yes, you have a date, if he says no, he wasn't worthy of ya!
-
Awe thanks! But I don't hear a charming drawl. LOL!
-
Yes you do have beautiful eyes
-
Honestly I have no clue physically. I am average.
-
Well just looking at yesterday you are below 1200 calories. You have to stay over 1200 cal or your body goes into starvation mode and will store everything it can...i.e. the fat!
-
Well I will try anything once, so someone bring on the free trial. LOL
-
I have thought about it too, but I am weary of spending that much money on something I may not like (taste wise).

Don't concentrate so much on the weight. Muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less room. I would suggest starting to measure yourself to see results. I only lost .6 lbs this past week, but I lost an inch on my waist. I still consider last week a win!

It has made me very aware of what I was eating. I looked at what I was eating and was amazed that I was consuming over 2300 calories before dinner. I have since cut my calories down to around 1500 and look and feel a lot better.

You might have an inital loss in one month of 13 lbs but realistically 10 lbs a month or 2 lbs a week is realistic. Anything more than 2 lbs a month is not healthy. Just keep that in mind. Also remember that muscle weighs more than fat so as you work out your body won't "lose" weight as fast. Try measuring yourself and…

I have bad knees due to my time in the military. Try the elliptical to give you the "running" workout but not the pounding on your joints. Also, if you are exercising too hard you are buring glucose and not fat, so try toning it down a bit.
-
Anyone?
-
I was thinking about buying one too. The calorie burn I get off the elliptical machine on the gym and what it trys to put in on here are way off. I go with the elliptical machine because it is lower.

Footlong BMT on Wheat...with cheese (yes I know it is bad!) Lettuce Pickles Onions Black Olives Pepper No dressing. I get it to go and put some no calorie italian dressing on it...in my mind helps make up for the cheese!
