Most is water weight. Also you should only weigh once a week or so and first thing in the morning. Oh and wear the same thing (or nothing at all) when you weigh. Keep working hard it pays off.

I use the elliptical 5 x a week anywhere from 45 min to 70 min a day. I have lost 20 lbs and gone down 2 sizes in my jeans. In 2 months.

I have the H7 with the chest strap. I love it. It sync's to my iPhone and I can view the data that way. I just don't like wearing a watch when I workout.

You have to have a intake of 1200 calories a day. For example I can have 2200 cal a day, but if I burn 1000 cal when I exercise I start with a deficit. I then have to eat a total of 2200 cal just to have a net intake of 1200 for the day. I have had days where I burned so much in my morning workouts and with my eating right…

Use the whatever your HRM says. Even when doing strength your heart rate is increased and your body is burning calories. It is ok to go over your max, but keep in mind when you do go over max your body starts buring other things instead of fat (i.e. muscle).

You can't go off a book as your intensity and weight have a factor. The best thing to do is invest in a HRM. I love mine! It gives an accurate reading of what you actually burn.
