You look amazing! Congrats! I would love to hear more about what you do for your weight-lifting routine. I am just starting to lift weights myself.

Surely there is a way I could just instruct my body to next remove fat from my thighs. I take my measurements every 2 weeks. It was 6 weeks before my thighs lost anything even though every other area of my body had lost two or more inches. But eventually, they did start getting smaller. Just keep losing!

I was concerned about this as well, so I did a little research. The recommended amount of 30g of sugar per day applies to ADDED sugar in sweets, candies, soda, etc. Thus, you shouldn't be getting more than 30g/day from THOSE sources. MFP sets the guideline that low, but then all grams of sugar including from fruits are…

I prefer Fage. Sometimes I drizzle a teeny tiny bit of honey on it or a packet of Stevia, and then berries, berries, berries! It's a little bit of an acquired taste though.

I have found that the only days I bust the sodium count are the days that I eat more than one processed food item. For instance, a couple of weeks ago, I had a day where I had a frozen dinner (Healthy Choice maybe?) for lunch and then a can of soup for dinner. But the days I limit it to only one processed food item, I can…

I work out in the mornings, but I do eat breakfast and have coffee before. I eat the same thing for breakfast every morning - 1/4 oats, with cinnamon, 1 Tbsp ground flax seed,1 packet Splenda, blueberries, a few almonds and made with Silk Light Vanilla. Lately I've been adding an egg white to boost my protein. And I drink…

I don't think one meal per week will completely derail you. I allow myself one cheat meal per week, and I have always been successful with this method when I am actually attempting to lose weight. I agree with the other poster that maybe you could choose something a little healthier from Arby's instead. Lately, I have been…

I feel like most of the times that I have or have wanted to binge eat it was because of some emotional trigger -- sadness, happiness, anger, etc. The last few months I have started asking myself 1) why do I want to eat that? and 2) will it change the situation at all to eat it? Usually (read: always) the answer is "No" and…

I totally agree with the cheat meal. For me that is Friday nights. On Friday nights, I allow myself to eat whatever I want. The longer you are making healthy choices though and seeing the results on the scale, the less tempting it is to overdo it. I find myself making healthier and healther choices on Friday nights despite…

Working from home ALWAYS does me in calorie-wise!!

I do this as well, but I never let it worry me. If I have a big meal, I can see it on the scale. It just serves as a reminder that I don't need to have more than one big meal that day (or maybe that week). I think you just have to do what works best for you. If you find that it helps you stay under control, then weigh…
