I could stand to lose 40, I'd be happy if I lost 20. I can lose while training, but the calorie deficit + training load that I have put on myself in the past has lead to some major crashes and mood swings for me. I'm trying to slow things down a bit, but I need to keep myself accountable in the off season. I'd recommend…

I carry water on anything over 8 miles or any distance in temps over 90 degrees. On long runs (slow trail runs), which might last 4 - 5 hours I'll bring food. Real food. Pierogis, pot pies that I make in a muffin tin so they are single serving, crackers, nuts, hard-boiled eggs, etc. But I will eat something every hour. If…

I had good luck with New Balance Trail Minimus. I switched to Merrell Trail Vapor for my last purchase for price reasons (I get what's on sale). The NB have a stiffer sole and more cushion than the trail vapor, though not much. A very wide toe box. If you like the trail minimus, they also have a road minimus I believe.

Not sure what kind of additional info you are looking for. I usually go between telephone poles when I do them. I've also seen other plans that built up time and reduced intensity on the splits. For instance week 1 would be something like 30 seconds at 95-98% VO2 Max. Week 2 would be 60 seconds at 90-95% VO2 Max and so on.…

Focus on counting calories now. Incorporate work on the treadmill or bike slowly if you enjoy it. A good balanced exercise plan should include cardio and strength training. I've always considered them complementary. Throw the Gazelle in the trash or sell it, if you can rope in another sucker. Those things are basically…

Co worker pet peeve: Cutting donuts in half and leaving the other half. Nobody wants something that you rubbed your filthy f&*#!$#ing hands all over and is now stale. Eat the whole thing or none at all....man, I just felt my blood pressure go up.

www.exrx.net You can build yourself a full dumbbell plan. I'm also a fan of Spartacus - it's a Men's Health workout and you can find free pdfs of 1.0 and 2.0 circuits. It has some good dumbbell exercises (high pulls, push press, a few others).

Don't trust him. He's a premium member, and clearly an UnderArmour shill!

I do research that nobody really understands anyways. I can always say the google search was related to "some important insights about our clientele" if IT makes a fuss.

But a non-movement that's gaining steady momentum.

Is it the intent of the author for the book to be a failure itself, or merely to be an exposition ABOUT failure?

Had to replace it with one that didn't misspell divide.

If I found the old one, I'd use it to measure the new one. Just for data.

I've got similar restrictions. I eat at my desk at work and am vegetarian, I watch my carbs, but am not on a "low carb" or a really restrictive diet in that way, but here goes: - Garden Salad add eggs and/or beans - Half an avocado stuffed with egg salad (Hell maybe even eat both halves - they are good) - Dried…

Yeah I'm training for my first 50k and long runs go up to 26 miles. But then I've read on some forums that anything over 22 or 23 isn't really doing anything physically, but is more for psychological benefit. I can spend 5-6 hours on trails without any damaging fatigue, so I feel like I'm just going to stick to the plan!
