I think i overstress myself because i set my cals lower than they should just so i can feel comfortable knowing that i have extra cals to 'play with' if i needed. The app calculated 1200 cals per day for me. I'm doing 1000. I feel full most of the day as i eat low cals food with big amounts. But i still miss those fatty…

That would be killing if i do it. It's absolutely the best choice you've made, but i know a person like me can't take it. I have to cheat once a month. Rarely i cheat twice a month but i always keep it within my calorie limit.
-
I think the same. But i really consider cheating as u know eating, let's say, fast food within your calorie limit. Guess i'll be trying going over by 200-300 cals on my next cheat since i don't cheat a lot :p

Seems like everyone agrees with that

Oh yea. The sugar scenario! Everyone's familiar with that haha

I'm in this insanity. I cook a lot of delicious low calorie healthy food. But still! I miss Macdonald's people! Lol

;D

That would be healthier. Good idea for cheating. "You cook your cheating meals".

I like how you consider week calorie limits instead of individual days. Puts off the pressure. I worry even about individual meals! I'm kind of obsessed.

I agree. And maybe this is why people who follow this approach are, let's say, less guilty. Because it didn't FEEL like a cheat day/meal. Good to know you've some support. I'm into this with my sister and we're kind of driving each other crazy with how-much-calorie-does-this-have thing :/

I've been on diet for 8 months now and lost 31 kgs so far. It's killing when you stay this long missing your old eating habits (all the pizzas, deep fries, junk food, soft drinks, etc) I agree with you. Eating habits are hard to change! I don't think i changed them. I've probably learned to resist them only. When they come…

This is exactly what i do. I think the whole idea is to balace your in-take and out-burn

I try to cheat whenever i feel like it specially that i'm not too far away from my goal weight. Long time ago it was a cheat every week. Not i'm more patient i suppose. But i love what you said "rewarding success with moderate indulgence"

Yea, some consider cheating is to eat more calories than they normally do. I think it is also to eat unhealthy fatty stuff that i'm not supposed to eat when i'm trying to lose weight but within my calorie limit. You know, things like french fries, tempura shripms, pastas, etc. but in really small amounts. Don't know if…

Normally people are advised to do that every two weeks. But i can handle not being upset, so i weigh daily, before breakfast after bathroom ;p

I used to have one fast food (or any restaurant) meal per week. Slowely i started to be more patient. One week became two weeks. Now, i have one cheat MEAL per month. And just like goonas said, log it honestly coz it makes you think of how to burn that cheat food. Try not to cheat for a whole day you don't want to overload…

When your body is used to some healthy food, then you overeat, it takes few days till that overeaten food is completely out and burned, so don't worry. I eat one fast food meal every three or four weeks (taking into account my calorie limits). That way you don't gain weight. Like today, i ate less in my breakfast (around…

Just wanted to remind you that drinking more than 8 cups of water a day is bad for the kidneys. Don't get your kidneys working harder than they should.
-
I eat less than 1000 and i always feel full. But the app says i should eat around 1200 :/

Absolutely my case

As everyone else said, you can do so much with eggs. I use 1 tbs olive oil in a small pan. Into that 4 baby corn and 2 medium mushrooms. When they are nearly cooked add 2 eggs seasoned with salt and pepper. You may turn your eggs or just put the whole pan in the oven to finish cooking. It's easier and it will get your eggs…
