Small amounts are OK, just do it on a heavy workout day.

I eat steamers and 90 second meals. I also found some pasta's that I'm going to try. My diary should be open so you can look if you like. If not friend me and I will add you. Good Luck.

First to push an injury, because it will get worst before it gets better. Rest and let it heal. There are several stretches that you can do, just google it. Make sure that you always stretch before and after a run. After a run I take a hot shower adjust the shower head on my legs and stretch them out. I have never used any…

My wife love my calves, so I would have to go with that.

I never liked veggies. I drink V8 Fusion for my servings of veg and fruits. Taste great and I get at least a portions in.

Thanks, those are all great ideas and Merry Christmas to you.

You add the 200 to your 1200 calories. You want to eat back the calories that you burn.

Not sure what singlets are, but MFP friends can get you in them again. Friend me if you like, I will try and keep you motivated.

Like Nikki mentioned, don't do it for others but for yourself. My goal weight is 190, but my healthy weight would be more like 170-180. But if I keep running and cycling like I want to continue to do, then I would like to be more like 150-160. You have to do it for yourself and what makes you feel confident. BTW, I'm a 5'…

Speaking from a husband that was unmotivated myself, he has to want to do it. I have learned over the 16 years of marriage that I have to want to do it and can't be pushed into it. It just frustrated me when my wife would exercise and try to push me into being good. Now I'm the one exercising and wanting her to get…

Anything electronic. Thinkgeek.com has some cool stuff. Give him cash then go out shopping with him so that he will spend it on what he wants. Kindle is great if he likes reading.

I have kids but I'm not a mom or live in Las Vegas. LOL. I like to visit Las Vegas if that counts.

Try streching by placing your foot up against a curb then push your knee of the same leg forward. It seems to help me.

i loved playing sports, but was never really a runner. Running is mostly mental and it is a great time to get my alone time. I enjoy cycling when it starts getting too hot to run in Texas. Cycling allows me to cover more miles with less of the pounding. I know enjoy running and hope to eventually become one of those guys…

Running is mostly mental. Start off by doing slow jogging then walk when you need too. Next time adding another to your slow jog without walking. Slowly increase it when feel that you ready. That is how I got up to my first mile without stopping. Once you start stringing them together, it will become easier. Don't be…

You will do fine. Start slow and build up to a comfortable pace. Welcome to running. I have started back today after gaining 30lbs back. When I was running last year, I really enjoyed the challenge of distance. Drink lots of water the couple of days leading up to the race. Friend me if you like, it is nice to runner…

Look at changing your routine. Cycling is great and you can cover more distance, but it is more of a summer thing.

Congrats. I looked at you profile pics and you look great. You shouldn't have any problems loosing the other 50. Keep it up.

Congrats. That is an inspiring story. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome. Start off by tracking all the foods you eat. Get starting measurements and before pictures (wish that I had done so). Make friends here for motivation and support. You will do great. Good Luck and friend me if you like. Todd

My diary is public so feel free to look. I don't record everything because it seems to be pretty much the same as the day before. I'm basically the same way at that I basically eat the same thing everyday during the week. It seems to work for me. I tend to eat a lot of carbs to get me through my cycling and running.…

That is excellent. You have had so much success and looking great. And I'm not sure how anyone could think that you are pregnant. You are doing so well, keep it up, ignore the stupid comments and use it has motivation. I wish I had gotten all of my measurements and gone to the doctor before I started this weigh loss…

I was 246 when I started and it fit fine. I would highly suggest getting one.

I have read a lot about it and finished reading "Born to Run". I'm currently just running on a treadmill with thin water shoes (Acadamy Sports for $5) at a 3% incline. I'm on a list to get the Vibram FiveFingers Men's Bikila Running Shoe. I have not yet run outside in them yet and shill wear my New Balance for my distance…

I agree with Robin, a minimum of 1200 calories and more if you exercise. You need the good calories to burn fat. I also suggest adding friends for support and motivation it has really helped me. Feel free to add me if you like.

I have had it happen in the past but always thought that it was allergies.

I looked at the 405 but ended up with the Forerunner 305 since about March. I also have the Garmin Edge 305 for cycling and love both of them. The reason I went with the 305 is for the larger data screens that showed more data. All my activities are outside and the GPS funtions on both are great. My brother has the…
