I bought a new bike last year after cycling for many years on a heavier aluminum framed bike. I upgraded components so that they were all the same brand and model because I wanted them to work well together. I also wanted to make sure that I got at least carbon fiber fork for a smooth ride. I ended up spending much more…

Wish I was in NY because I would love a running partner. Maybe a long distance partner and hold each other accountable. I signed up for my first half marathon in Dec so I have to get motivated.

I have lost 30lbs, about a bicycle.

That is AWESOME. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up for my first half marathon on Dec 5. I have only ran 1 5K and started cycling again. I feel the cycling is during the hot Texas months while still getting in my cardio and doing treadmill work. I'm not on any plan as of yet.

I really would be intrested in hearing what the dr says. I have been experiencing the same thing in my right knee after I run. It usually doesn't hurt during the run and I'm kind of affraid of what my dr would say. I have been resting and it and not running more than 2-3 miles at a time with a rest day between runs. I'm…

I have been eating bad for a few weeks now and not tracking my food or exercising a lot. I weight myself every day to make sure I'm with in 5lbs. The body needs change to get over a plateau. I'm hoping that when I start doing good on June 1, that the weight will just melt off.

Here are a couple of ideas that are not too far. I have not been there in a while, but we had fun hiking and swimming at Turner Falls Park. http://www.turnerfallspark.com/ http://www.arbucklewilderness.com/

I actually have a whole wardrobe waiting for me ranging from size 32 to 36. I could probably wear the 36 now but I'm waiting until I hit the 200 mark.

That is a great accomplishment and your time is great.

That is great. Thanks for sharing.

Your body may just need rest. Give it a break and maybe change your running routine. I went through the same thing, but I was only running about 40 minutes. I'm currently giving my body a break until the soreness goes away, the will start running about 4 times a week, with a day off before and after my long runs on…

Running is great cardio to burn a ton of calories. You can go to mapmyride.com and create a route to give you an estimate of how far you run or walk. The speed is an issue but you could calculate it by how long it takes you to do 1 mile. Good Luck.

Congrats, you look aaaamazinggggg!!! Keep up the hard work.
-
It is not a good meal plan, but fast food will put on the weight.
-
So far 100 oz and should be at around 140 oz by the end of tonight if I exercise.
-
I would if I was there. Good Luck.

I do weight every morning when I first wake up. I do this to hold myself accountable and adjust accordingly. I play a game on trying to guess my weight according to what I have eaten and exercise from the previous couple of days. I only log it about once a week on Monday's which I because my weekends are not so good.

Mine is public.

Current Goals: Run 5K in under 30 minutes Run a 10K in June Run a half marathon in December Future Goals: Run a marathon Bike 100 miles at the "Hotter than Hell" in the August heat of Texas.

That is amazing. I have started running and ran my first 5K this past Saturday in 31:22. I'm currently training to do a 10K in June.

dailymile.com is also a good fitness site to ask questions about running. I'm new to the site, so I'm still trying to figure it out but is really similiar to MFP for fitness and Facebook

HRM is a Heart Rate Monitor. I would highly suggest to get a more accurate level of fitness and calories burned. You can probably find inexpensive ones on amazon.com. The better ones have a strap around the chest.
