Welcome to the family. MFP has been a great help. I have learned to cut back my portions and trying to eat a little heathier. Actually looking at what I eat and how much I exercise has made a big difference.

I do not have the answer. I know my daughter, who is a teenager, lost 60 pounds. She looks great - including her abs. All she did was cut back on what she ate and she walks all the time. It made a believer out of me. Just keep it up. You will see your abs change. I am still waiting on mone to change to.

Same here. I eat about anything if my calories allow. I have tried to make almost everything from scratch. There are still a few processed things left in the house still yet. I am learning first control. Trying not to overeat or overindulge. I have tried more fruits and vegetables but I am still not eating enough of them.

Ok . These are more like my numbers. My youngest daughter likes to Just Dance 1& 2 so I do them with her so we both are moving.

I have a daughter whose lower adominal and pelvic muscles were not working properly. Most of her therapy was working with a ball. She would sit on it and do stretches n it. Using the ball helped to restore her muscles.

If you go to the community you will find lots of recipes people have posted. I found a forum on here a couple of weeks ago that was all crockpot recipes. Just type in the search what kind of recipe you are looking for. I am sure you will find some great recipes. MFP has been a great help for me! Don't forget to keep track…

I am 41, 5'2", started mfp at 217. I wsa at 225 last fall. My goal is to get down to about 140 - 150. Dr wants me at 160; the diabetic nurse wants me at 135. I would be perfectly happy to get to 145. If I can lose more -- great!

I really don't like carrot cake but anything healthy I can sneak in on the family is wonderful!

I just talked to a diabetic nurse. She told me not to focus so much on my sugar but to focus on my carbs. Too many carbs really can hurt. She told me to try to stick to 45 carbs a meal and if I have a snack try to keep it within those alotted carbs. I go see a dietician in 1 1/2 weeks. I will know more about it than.
