It's NOT counterproductive!! MFP has already taken off the calories you need to NOT eat to lose weight.

I got this wrong with reference to me. I'm not skinny fat :O) But looking at pictures of what people mean by it you can see what they mean. Softer bodies as opposed to toned ones.

Thanks everyone. It's everyone's post - I just worry about posting another question the same as everyone else!! :O) I've changed my goals and am going to hit the gym hard tomorrow. I have been trying to add some interval training so will go with that and will up my weights too. Thanks all. Amanda

I'm just going over my goals. I upped my daily sugar goal because of fruit but am not sure if I should reduce it again. I will do as suggested by an earlier poster - thank you - and sort the protein out. I'll also look at carbs. Thank you.

I'm a member of a Seb Coe Gym. They are charging a range of memberships but I paid up front and as I've been a member a couple of times before I got a year for £330. No Joining fee. Never pay those!! It's got a gym, weights, pool, steam, sauna, jacuzzi, tennis courts and has classes too which are free to peak members.

Hi I use a HRM and stop it once I'm below about 115 BPM which means I don't record a lot of cals lost. I eat back everything I do log and lose. I'd say the machines are more likely inaccurate unless you're a male in which case they might not be 'as' inaccurate. MFP is over too. Maybe average online calculators? You won't…
