  • If I recall, 10lb loss is about a size drop in clothing. That sounds right to me. Great job!
  • I had a family gathering for dinner and ate approx. 1300 calories in that 1 meal. I ate light for the other meals on the same day. I enjoyed myself first and foremost. I did a little more activity on that day knowing I would most likely go over my calorie goal. (I did by 600 calories). I am not going to lose weight for…
  • So laundry room 97% done. Some trim pieces to install. Went shopping for storage bins for on top but didn’t find anything. Guess I will be doing some arm chair shopping. Dinner with family last night 1300+ calorie just for that meal. Yikes. Heading for the tm. Looking forward to roads permitting a run outside. May sunshine…
  • Hi all and welcome newbies (I am new also) Checking back in. My work has all of a sudden got very busy. I guess that means spring has officially arrived! Lynn, I live in Oconto County, reply from a much earlier post. Scale moved to 184.6. Not been very consistent this week with hitting my calorie goals, so time to get back…
  • Hi to all, Snowy n rainy day. Jack got his walk early as the winds were quiet and now very gusty. I am very thankful for my “small 3” snow fall as north has 18” & counting. My brother said he shoveled snow off roof yesterday and had 4’ on roof. After doing, can’t see out of house windows any longer. This is in UP MI. Just…
  • Running brought me out. Exercise is a miracle drug! “Warning” this drug can be highly addictive
  • Agreed. You can search an item and find at least 3 different calorie counts. It would be nice if an option to flag for deletion or correction.
  • Happy Day to all, A pet or special animal can be a sad loss. Hugs to you. I've been doing well at getting my exercise in. Jack got 2 walks in yesterday and went 2.5 miles on the treadmill last night. Today I had an appointment in snow covered northern Wisconsin and had to walk to the house and back to my car as the road…
  • Hi All, Runa, hoping you get the help you need and find speedy recovery. Kerttu, I have a size 8 pair of jeans I aspire to fit into again. I have one pair of jeans currently that I wear sometimes, but yoga and running pants are my staples. They are comfortable to wear and I am to stubborn to buy new clothes for my current…
  • Realizing I was wearing the same size of clothing my mother wore. Size 16. Our body shape very different, but non the less over weight. UGH Working at seeing size 8 again.
  • Weigh in yesterday 186.8. Going Down! I've been highly motivated for 2+ Weeks. Crossing fingers this trend lasts a little longer cuz I know the sweet tooth and fried food cravings gonna hit at some point. Boiled eggs and soup have been staples allowing to have some extra higher calorie foods which I think have helped not…
  • Good morning! I ended up getting a second walk in with Jack yesterday. I planned on treadmill workout, but I was so sore from the step stool up, down, and painting. When did I get so out of shape. UHG. Off to the lumber store to get some more supplies to finish laundry room, makeover. Hope to finish it up this week…
  • Just a thought... When I am on the treadmill with just plain street shoes, like my sketchers, I get shin pains terrible. (even when just walking on the treadmill). I put on my running shoes (just started running again) and the pains go away. Is it possible you need to get fitted for a good pair of running shoes? They are…
  • Weight of 166.8 in my dreams. Correction 186.8 today good but 166 would be better.

  • Yep on using almond flour. Be prepared for sticker shock crazy expensive. I usually try to stretch it using a 1/4 if the portion with oat flour. Works ok. Rice flour has an odd texture and results are poor.
  • So Sorry for everyone loss. I am not a widow, but I lost my sister (age 46) to breast cancer and almost exactly 1 yr later, lost my mom to uterine cancer. (My sister passed one day before my birthday). There is a song by Green Day, Wake Me Up When September Ends, still hold true for me and it has now been 7 yrs since the…

  • Good Morning Everyone, Dinner was great! The drinks were even better. 3 drinks, chicken breast smothered with a cream sauce and seafood was delicious, but I am sure very calorie dense. I didn't try to figure out how many calories and just indicated what it was in my notes. Thank goodness this is not an everyday outing... I…
  • Dang- retype as problem with website :) Creamcheese pizza "crust" was a bust. Tasted ok, but not worth the extra calories. Tilliesmom - thanks for the GF suggestion. I have tried many, not this one though & will definitely check it out. I find prepacked is mostly awful. The almond flour is good (crazy expensive) and oat…
  • I am the slowest runner on earth. If I had the attitude I cant run because I am not like the other athletes or athlete. I would be a couch potato. I am not athletic in nature, clumsy as all heck, but I CHOOSE to run because it is good for my health and waist line. I will not break any records (Maybe the slowest record),…
  • Amen! Happy Valentines Day!
  • Happy Valentines Day! Not a romantic dinner planned, but DH requested Lasagna. (Gluten is not my friend) so I am making his traditional and trying a new recipe for me using a cream cheese base for a pizza crust, (Not!.) The comments said it tasted like lasagna so I am trying! I have started and stopped gluten so many times…
  • I am trying cream cheese pizza crust tonite (I cant have gluten). I don't like the gluten free flour crust, didn't like cauliflower crust, although slicing the cauliflower into a slab and adding pizza toppings was really good(looks similar to yours). I will try the zucchini as it looks really good. Thanks for sharing
  • swap unsweetened apple sauce or purred pumpkin for cooking oil. Equal amounts are perfect for bars and cakes. FYI The pumpkin is fine for something with chocolate flavor. I don't like applesauce with chocolate flavor.
  • Good Morning, Runa hugs to you! You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Very early morning, waiting for the coffee to finish brewing. Happy Day to everyone! Birdie
