I drink Green Tea with Mint both hot and cold. I usually try to have a glass or mug when I'm feeling hungry (and it isn't mealtime) that way I know for sure if I was actually hungry or not. I have heard similiar things. Either way, its an easy way to get your water in each day and its has no calories and lower levels of…

My nutritionist once told me "clear liquor with a clear mixer." So, essentially, plain (unflavoured) vodka with tonic or soda water with lemon or lime. It doesn't taste that bad and, by sipping, you won't get as drunk and slip into that "I need McDonald's or Taco Bell" coma at midnight.

I eat fruit with my breakfast (winter fruits - berries- are lowest in sugar) and I really look forward to it. I visited an allergist who advised me to slowly add dairy back into my diet and record my reaction (which I have done -- no major issues,…

This looks right up my alley! I currently eat 1/2 cup of blackberries, 1/2 cup of blueberries, and 6 strawberries alongside my shake. Looks like I need to add it into the blender!

My doctor reccommended that I use whey in an effort to build my tolerance to diary. Because my allergic reaction does not inhibit my breathing, he said I could outgrow it to the point where it is tolerable. As a female in my 20s, I have been concerned with bone mass loss as I have avoided dairy my whole life. I typically…

I recently spent a solid 30 minutes at the organic fruit and nut section at Publix. I read the back of each container and compared each package for calories and protein. The best bet (which also was the cheapest in price) was soy nuts. They cost $1.99 for a 5.75 oz package. Each ounce yields 150 calories and 11g of…
