• I'm the same way but I just think of how many hours professional athletes train and feel better. I'm no way close to a professional athlete tho lol
• Hi! I'm an American living in the UK and I've finally gotten the transition from logging American foods to british food. My diary is open and will help when I can! Feel free to add :)
• Same!! You look amazing
• On Day 45 of the lean program and loving it! I wanted to burn some fat off before I started building more muscle. I STILL have some tummy flab after having my baby 19 months ago even tho I'm thin everywhere else. I've started adding a couple of extra cardio sessions during the week as well. Gong to do doubles next :) Age:…
• I have a few: -Every time I'm standing around (doing dishes, showering, etc) I squeeze my bottom and do standing crunches. It helps a lot. My stomach is flatter and my derriere is perking right up! -I run or briskly walk everywhere, even at home. We have a small-ish flat but if I'm going to the the 20 feet from the living…
• Yep, like they all said, inches are the key! I'm on week 5 of p90x and I've actually gained 3lbs but have lost 1/2in from each thigh and 1in from my tummy. For lots of people, the tummy fat is one of the last places to go. Don't give up! Weight is just a number but if you look and feel fab, who cares what the scale says! :)
• Circuit training will help a lot. It's a mixture of cardio, strength training, and, yes, ab work. I got Jillian Michael's 30 day shred after I had my baby and it helped a lot. You can get it on amazon for £6 and it's only 20min per day. Your stomach muscles stretch 80% when you're pregnant and it definately takes a lot of…
• It's best to eat 6 small meals per day because if you go several hours without eating your body goes into a bit of starvation mode and your metabolism slows down. I would try to eat a smaller lunch and then have a snack of fruit or veg a couple hours after.
• I didn't exercise when I was pregnant and I gained 65lbs
•
Im just not that saintly i guess. I'm okay for the most part but im a carb junkie and seriously guilty of comfort eating. I wish i were that disciplined but the thought of never eating bread ever or cake?? HELL!!
You don't have to never eat bread or cake, just reduce what you eat. So limit yourself to 1…
• I agree and if you do have to have bread, make it yourself. It's not hard at all and wholemeal bread flour is very inexpensive. According to an article about overindulging in Health and Fitness Magazine August 2012 issue: A study by Oxford University has discovered that about three hours after a big meal, most of the fat…
• It's really good in meatloaf. Basically, use it as you would use beef mince and it's so much healthier
• Hi, I'm in the Birmingham area as well. Feel free to add me if you like
• Hi, I'm 23. You guys can feel free to add me too. I still struggle with chocolate sometimes but for the most part I've conquered my bad eating habits. I will do what I can to help and would like some motivation too :)
• I just started week 5 of p90x. Is that what you're on?
