That is awesome!!! Good job!!!

I have a few reasons. The first and foremost reason is that I'm sick of my chronic pain getting the better of me. I want to reduce my pain flare ups so that they are minimal, so that I can enjoy my body and my life the way a normal person can. The second reason is my family. I want to be a good role model for my boys, I…

Mine is similar to this except with gerbera daisies instead of pansies. I love flowers and I love to garden, so it fits me perfectly.

I eat a couple oz of cheese every day and am having no trouble losing weight. I love cheese! I refuse to give it up.

Feel free to add me, it sounds like we might get along. I'm quite pervy (and curvy) too! PS: I love firefly!!

I log everything that goes into my mouth, including coffee. I put it in my food diary as food because of the cream and sugar I add to it. The only thing I count as water is plain water.

I LOVE STAR WARS!! Ahh! Seriously though, I love it so much, my husband and I dress up as something SW related every Halloween. Here's my kid a couple of years ago: My husband as the Emperor: I would post more but I can't find them atm lol.

Chocolate :( My husband bought me a couple of chocolate bars for Mother's Day and I could. not. stop. eating them! They were so, so delicious. I can't keep any chocolate in the house or else I just eat it.

Almond butter, grape jelly for my son, mayonnaise, bbq sauce and ketchup.

I am currently exclusively breastfeeding my 3 month old. I give myself an extra 400 calories a day for that. One way to factor it in is to put it into your food diary. You can do this by searching in the food database for "breastfeeding" and it will give you several options. I currently eat about 1800 calories a day,…

NSV = Non Scale Victory Today I realized that I was pulling my jeans up several times a minute because they were too big and kept falling down! I also managed to pull them down to go on the potty without undoing the button or zipper. I guess it's time for a belt.

I'll probably eat well for the first half of the day, and then come dinner time will survive on too much grease and a bottle of wine with NO KIDS!
-
I refuse to cut out chocolate, coffee and wine. I still have all three daily but in small amounts. My morning starts with coffee, and my day ends with a small piece of brownie and a glass of shiraz.

It was medical marijuana that led me into this weight predicament! I have a script (in Canada) for my fibromyalgia but relied too heavily on pot to deal with my symptoms rather than exercise and dietary changes. I still smoke pot but it's in smaller amounts and only right before bed so that I can sleep without taking…

Personally I make sure I have at least a beer a week, usually two :) How could I totally cut out my favourite drink?! I couldn't! So I just limit it, log it and make sure I don't go over my calorie goal.

Feel free to add me! I'm also a SAHM. I have two boys, a 3 year old and a 3 month old.

Thank you to all the mamas that posted!! What an inspiration  I'll be resurrecting this thread in a few months to post my own progress :) I'm already seeing a difference but am still too shy to post any photos :embarassed:

Oh my, apparently I just made a major mistake in sending a blank friend request :ohwell: LOL, Newbies gotta newb.

Sent a friend request. I love your attitude! Regardless of how much any of us have to lose, this is a battle we can all fight together!

Oh Jaqua, that sounds awful and I'm sorry you're feeling so sick right now :( My FM is thankfully not that bad right now. As far as pain goes I'm probably at my healthiest at the moment. Potluck, anna, thanks for your replies! I have not tried lifting in the past, it's completely new to me so I guess I'll just have to give…

I'm currently on the mini pill and have no issues with weight gain. It hasn't affected my loss, either.

Thanks for the reply! I too find that if I don't exercise (cardio mostly) then I feel worse. It took me a few weeks to break through the pain barrier, but I finally did it and stopped using my FM as an excuse to not move. Yes, that's how I feel about it too. My muscles will always hurt, no matter what, but it's better to…

Besides a shopping spree for a new wardrobe, I'll probably save up for a tattoo. I've been meaning to get another for several years now but was always discouraged by my body. I want one on my back/shoulder, but I never show off that area because I'm too ashamed of my body. I'm already starting to see a difference in my…

I'm excited, I won't lie. I loved the books and hope they don't mess it up, but you know how movies are...

Fat shaming doesn't work. Why do a lot of people become overweight? Because they have a problem with emotional eating. All this does is make big people feel even worse than they already do. So what do they do to compensate? Eat more food. Yeah, that seems SO productive! If you want "fat people" to become healthy, try…

This is something I've had to learn how to do. My husband was always complaining about how negative I was, about everything! After developing depression a second time (after the birth of my second child) I realized that something needs to change, and that something starts inside of me. I did a complete 180 and changed my…

James Deen. A good friend of mine is obsessed with him and now I know why!

I do as much cleaning as my kids will allow! We try to keep a relatively tidy home. I vacuum twice a week, clean the bathroom once a week, and do about 3 loads of dishes every single day. I hate to have a messy kitchen so it's probably the cleanest room in the apartment lol. I don't dust all that often (even though I want…

My current goal is to get to 130 and see how that feels and looks. I've had a couple of kids (my youngest is 3 months) so my tummy is rather stretched, but it's slowly shrinking. I'm currently around 155 and hate it. I got down to 145 by breastfeeding with my first child but it took about a year after the birth to get…
