My half marathon trainer is like an extended c25k. It's just a little more than double the length week wise. I may just restart that from the beginning. I walk at least 5 miles every day, usually more so that's why I think I can work my way up a little faster. I'm thinking some of the pain may be from lack of stretching…

I'm a wuss when it comes to cold, too. It's been ~15 degrees here lately. I have a hiking trail in my backyard that I take my dogs on occasionally. For now I'll stick to short walks outside, long walks on the treadmill, and trips to large stores. However I start college this week and my one class is a half mile walk each…

I've been doing inclines as well as watching movies, I just want to be able to help my brother get active too. We may actually go to the mall to be honest
-
Not more intensity than walking. I mean more intense than my casual strolling I do
-
I've started c25k which is every other day running. On my days off I walk a lot but I want to have at least 30 minutes of more intensity than walking. So far I've done both incline and speed walking. I was just curious if one was any better than the other. Thanks for the responses

My waist is 27 but it's still 26/27 when I was 108-110

I've actually decided I'm going to start C25k just to have a app to help me run (I have had continuous shin problems that's part of the reason I don't run) and I've decided on days off from that that I'm going to take half an hour to brisk walk on the treadmill just to make sure I'm at least getting 30 minutes of increased…

I just walk on flat terrain mostly.. Be it the treadmill, inside my house, or hiking trails behind my house which are mostly flat
-
I average 120 as well
-
It's usually a casual stroll. Sometimes I walk on the treadmill and focus more on keeping a good pace and staying focused.. But normally I just carry a book or my phone and read for a few hours while I walk
-
But otherwise good to know someone else is benefitting from a lot of low intensity walking
-
What do you mean by that? I've never heard that phrase before. As in do I enjoy my walking? I do my walking everyday because I feel refreshed by it

Good to know thank you :)

Enough to stay fit and healthy, and I'm able to eat about 1500 or so calories and day and not gain weight.

I'm 5'1".
-
Thank you. I just needed some outside opinion it's almost reassuring to know its all in my head
-
Thank you so much it means a lot :)

These are great thank you :)
-
Thank you. Yea I will try to slow it down a bit then. Also I am quite short I'm 5'1" but not super short. Thank you so much!!

I still get 1450 calories a day. I'm able to eat really healthy meals plus a few snacks. The snacks usually consist of something to get rid of my cravings for a salty savory or sweet food. I don't really feel too restricted I just got distracted by Chinese food and high calorie baked goods
-
I also call it a binge because I ate until I felt sick
-
I more or less consider it a binge because all of my calories came from junk food
-
Thank you so much for the informational responses :)

On a lazy day you shouldn't, no. I think I have that option on though because the two are linked and my calories on here change with my Fitbit calories
-
It may be irrelevant. Not sure I just know I have the two connected. What are negative adjustments? I don't know whether or not it will go up or down with my tdee. My bmr is 1200 and I calculated my tdee at 1900. I don't know how half this stuff works sorry

My Fitbit is connected to this app. It automatically calcs and adds calories for me. I walk 10 miles a day to stay active so I walk at a moderate pace for an hour or so at a time.

Well it's relieving to know the Fitbit is calculating pretty accurately. I may change my activity to sedentary and that way the calories calculated are on top of my bmr

My goal is 1450 a day which has had me losing 2+ pounds a week. If I ate any back it will slow it down but for someone already at 112 it probably wouldn't hurt to eat a few back if I'm hungry. But myfitnesspal a goal for me 250 over my initial calculated bmr because I put "active" as my status. Then walking 10 miles gives…
