^^ This. And then I would find somewhere else to eat. Anywhere else. Enjoy your food, your results, and when you get a new, smaller outfit, wear it in to work and flaunt it. If anyone compliments you on it, say, "All that salad you were teasing me about got me here." Or of somebody asks why you don't eat with them anymore,…

I thought about all of the weights I have been throughout the course of my life, and the fact that now I have a baby and will be 30 in a few months. I realized that I will never be down to where I was in high school (135) because my metabolism is slowing down and I am not playing sports every day for 3 hours a day. I…

I got the Flex because I am notorious for leaving things and losing things. My flex I take off only to charge and to shower. (You can leave it on in the shower, but for me the water that gets trapped under the band irritates me.) I got all of the ladies at work wearing one, and we encourage each other. I also love the fact…

I agree with baby steps. However, I also know that there is a biological reason for the blues when you don't work out. The dopamine levels in your brain drop. The feel good endorphins you get from sex and chocolate is the same one. So when we eat sugar we get that dopamine high. We also get it with increased exercise.…

You can add me as a friend. I have 20 more pounds to go to get where I need to be, and that is still heavier than I'd like....I am 14 pounds down. My aunt loves P90X. I have been thinking about asking her to send me a copy of the dvd's. Luck has nothing to do with weight loss. It is all discipline and hard work, so I won't…

Goals: 1) Lose 10 pounds to get back to pre-baby weight. (168) 2) Exercise more so that I can keep up with my toddler. 3) Continue to lose another 10 pounds to get out of the 'overweight' category. (158) 4) Build muscle and get rid of belly so I can eventually wear a bikini (I never have. Always been chubby) 5) Lose…

Well, you are already off to a good start. You joined MFP. My advice is to log EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth. Butter you add to your toast, juice if you drink it, etc. It may seem like those are insignificant calories, but they add up. Also, buy a food scale. We don't always know what an ounce of something looks…

I go find my friends who have lost and maintained their loss. One friend lost 175 pounds. She did that right after I stopped working with her 3 years ago. I knew her when she was huge, and then I went to visit her and did not recognize her. She lost an entire person! She has kept off that weight for three years, so I…

I agree, go with the lower number always. I don't totally trust all of the technology linking together and being accurate. For example, my Fitbit wants me to eat more calories than I have MFP set for, so I just sync my Fitbit at the end of the day and if I have extra calories left on MFP after the sync, then I get dessert.…

Anybody can add me too!! I am not getting the support from my family, including my husband. They all have terrible eating and exercise habits, and I feel like I am doing this alone!! :indifferent: My husband says I should have more willpower, and does not cook or want to walk with me. :ohwell:

My doctor told me I should not weigh more than 150. I was 135 all through high school until I turned 23. Then I got a desk job and hit a major depression patch which shot me up to 175 and then I got pregnant and shot up to 200. I am not as active as I was when I was in high school nor when I was waiting tables. At 135 I…

You can, but lately they haven't been syncing properly. Go to the top of the page. Click "apps". Fitbit tracker should be one of the first ones listed. Click "connect". Then you're done!

You could try doing chest specific exercises and limit it to the one side which is larger. Although, now that I think about it, muscle is denser than fat, so is your bigger boob on your dominant side? Maybe you have more muscle under the bigger boob and that is what causes it to look larger. I don't really think my post is…

I did not think about doing this. Great idea! I will try that now! I will also try to figure out how to open my diary to get better answers.

I have been stuck since January, so 4 months. I have my calories set at 1200, and I try to have a deficit, but it hasn't been working lately because I get hungry in the middle of the afternoon and end up overeating and snacking. I have tried to change the snacks to healthy food, like a salad or celery and peanut butter,…

I have gone to a few swaps where I took tons of stuff and left with 1 shirt and 1 pair of pants. I admit, it can be frustrating. BUT part of the swap is also meeting new people. So maybe you create an event on facebook or make flyers to pass out at work. Have everyone bring at least one friend. Your chances of getting…

Have a clothing swap. Get together as many people as you can and have everyone bring clothes they want to get rid of. Organize the clothes by category (jeans, short sleeve shirts, shoes, etc.) and then "shop". Invite people of all sizes and ages so that there is a large variety of clothing to choose from. Anything that is…

No, it isn't a behavior thing. I actually work in a behavior modification program, helping others modify their behavior. There are many days where I clock in and out without grabbing a fun size bar. But if I don't eat enough protein in the morning I crave sweets in the afternoon when I clock out.

My friend lost 170 pounds. She went to the DMV to renew her driver's license and the computer recognition program did not recognize her. I don't have to lose that much. Only 22 more pounds to go. I don't have a pic posted here because I can't figure out how to do it. ...

These are all great ideas! Thank you! How about you all add me as a friend, and then you can help me! Questions: Where do I find Quest bars or voortman cookies? I have never heard of either of these. I also went out and bought some pre-portioned nuts covered in dark chocolate cocoa powder (The Emerald brand) and…

Hi, nice to see you. You can send me a request if you'd like. I have a little boy who is almost two. I have also always been "thick" my entire life and have been working for 3 months to shrink back down to where my doctor wants me to be. I have lost 11 pounds and have 20 more to go!
