I am in the same boat, and I have only been able to do 8-10 glasses when I need to be doing 15. Can I do this one too?

Get it checked by a doctor. I ripped a quad muscle length-wise running in boot camp. I ran on it for 7 days before the bruising surfaced and I went to medical. It kept re-ripping over the years. That was 20 yrs ago, I still have problems with it periodically. My dad ripped his across but his healed cleanly.

I joined this challenge to get back in the swing of things. Been out of it for quite a while and needed some motivation. I looked at several websites and this seemed to be the best one for "community". I can't do crunches (even chair ones) can I substitute 50 diamond push-ups for the extra large?

Sam's has some protein shakes that are 30 g protein with only one g carb. I find they work pretty good. Dont taste bad either. Cheese is good to. Almonds are good too.

Eat something with protein before going to bed - apples are good too but the sugars maybe kicking in and leaving you hungry. I usually get hungry after eating carbs or surgars. I actually drink a protein shake loaded with protein before bed so I dont get hungry.

LOL I had to go look up what a Burpee was. That isn't what we called them in the Navy... snicker. (Mixed company so you'all will have to guess) Unfortunately, I wont be able to do them and haven't come up with anything as challenging as yet. Right now, I am lucky if I can get in a mile. Can I do 2?

I am not cleared for squats either and unfortunately yesterdays crunches were a bust due to medical reasons. Can I do 100 leg lifts alternating, 150 wall pushups (my arms will put me with the fishes) and walk a mile? Would that be satisfactory for the family?

I have two lower-carb and low-fat recipes. One is for a pie. Get a gram-cracker crust. A sugar-free jello pudding mix. Mix up the jello mix using skim milk, place in pie and cool. Please check into this, especially with working out 3 hours a day. Working out is great. But you are starving your body and it will shut down on you. While it works in the short term, you start gaining weight because your body thinks it is starving.
