  • You look fantastic! Super well done. :flowerforyou:
  • Rested and fueled = a much better run than last time. The Daffs are out, the sun is shining and the butterflies are doing what butterflies do. Bring on the Spring/Summer! 3/4 3 miles - outside 3/8 6 miles - outside 3/10 6 miles - outside 3/12 3 miles - outside 3/13 2 miles - outside 3/16 6 miles - outside
  • As you've got other things on your mind I would just log it as daily kcals used and start again today as well. I hope your daughter is ok. :flowerforyou: And yes, I think lots of folk have a day off if they fancy something, me included. Last night my boyfriend ordered me a pizza from my local take-away as a treat even…
  • Cut my run a bit short tonight, not feeling great, no point pushing it. I guess 2 miles is better than none. :ohwell: 3/4 3 miles - outside 3/8 6 miles - outside 3/10 6 miles - outside 3/12 3 miles - outside 3/13 2 miles - outside
  • Amazing, well done fella. Don't let the rest of the journey scare you, you've made super progress and you're obviously determined. Keep us updated! :flowerforyou:
  • Well done, you look fantastic. Look at that trim tum! X
  • 3 miles after work tonight, thank goodness for street lights  3/4 3 miles - outside 3/8 6 miles - outside 3/10 6 miles - outside 3/12 3 miles - outside
  • OP, seriously well done! I can only dream of running for 12 miles at the moment! You kept on and you did it, nice work. :flowerforyou: Love this! My 10k today started as the second one and ended up as the first - it felt amazing! But mostly it's the second... and well done on your 5km in 30 minutes too. I'm still working…
  • A pair of beautiful black trousers, slit to the knee with a funky embroidered section up the sides that I last wore when I was about 18 or 20ish. They're a UK size 10 but a small cut and they have absolutely no give in them at all! I did manage to recently fit into a pair of trousers that I have not been able to wear since…
  • Another 6 miles in the hazy sunshine today, laaaavely! So that's: 3/4 3 miles (and my quickest ever 5k!) 3/8 6 miles 3/10 6 miles Until this thread/pledge thing I hadn't done a 10km in a while, but i'm pleased to have knocked 20 mins off of my time from my last 10k back in July last year. Still a bit slow but…
  • Got an unexpected day off of work today and i'm so thankful I did as it is fabulously dry, sunny and warm in my little part of the world for once and it felt GREAT to be out running without my coat! 6 miles today.
  • Best wished post-surgery, and good luck with the half marathon training :-) I've got so much work on at the moment that i'm finding it hard to fit in anything apart from short runs, must try harder...
  • You're not the only one lovely, I never tell anyone my weight and never have! I just say how much i've lost if they ask, there's no shame in that. Just make sure you let us know when you reach your next goal!
  • You look amazing, younger, lovely skin, healthier and happier. I bet you feel great too and so you should!
  • A couple of people have just started to comment, so a good 18/19lbs in. I've noticed a couple more doing sort of a double take as if they want to say something but aren't sure, so I can only assume that it isn't completely obvious  # To be honest I can barely see it myself in terms of looking skinnier but my body…
  • That's amazing and you have every reason to be proud of your achievements! Thanks for sharing :flowerforyou:
  • Hellooo! I'm Clare and I live in Hampshire but originally from west Sussex. Joined MFP ages ago but only been doing it seriously for about 3 months. 19lb down so far, another 1.5 to go but finding it all better and easier than ever before thanks in no small part to this great place. Lovely to 'meet' you all :flowerforyou:
  • Sounds like you have developed a good attitude OP  I went 700 over last night with my usual Saturday pizza fest but did save quite a few up having only a small lunch and breakfast, and today is a workout day so it's all good until next Saturday! :drinker: I'm not sure what anyone's MFP record is but i'd bet it's a…
  • Earlier in the week I knocked 14 minutes off of my 5km running time compared to this time last year doing the exact same route. Chuffed didn't even come close!
  • If you always beat yourself up every time you eat something 'unclean' you're in for a hard time, and I know this because I used to think exactly like this as well. As the others say, just enjoy the food you had and move on. It's not so much a square one situation as a continuation of the good work with a well earned break…
  • Yay! Was hoping to see this thread appear  I'd love to sign up to this, it'll be my first one so hopefully I can get the ticker to work. I'd like to pledge 35 miles please, and see how I get on.
  • I didn't see this thread originally, but well done OP on your progress, i'm glad it's working for you.
  • Well done on getting out and doing it! Any movement, whether it's running or walking will help overall to allow you to meet your calories goals more easily, so it all helps. Are you using a structured plan such as C25K or just free-styling? Something like this can really help get you running for longer at a time and help…
  • Traitor! The running police are gonna come and get you  Seriously though that's awesome. I think I once tried it so I could 'hear the birds singing in the trees' etc but it didn't last long.
  • Great post! Although I swear I put on 3lbs after I read it...
  • This thread made me   I don't go commando in the gym or running outdoors and that's probably just as well as some of the seams on my lyrca trews are getting a bit tired and I dare not think what might happen if they failed on me if I was, ya know, nekid :blushing: But I do love a good thong, or 'bits of…
  • I'm also on Depo and have been for about 1.5 years. I used to have the implant and did feel hungry a lot but i'm not sure it was actually the cause, probably just my own greediness! I've not personally had any issues with Depo injections though, no increased appetite or anything and the benefits are pretty amazing…
  • Completed it a couple of years ago, it was one of the best things I ever did! Along with counting kcals and other exercise it has helped me lose weight, and although i'll never be a marathon runner I do regular 5 and 10k's now where I couldn't run for more than a few minutes to start with. It really is excellent.
  • You, lady, are absolutely stunning. Top job. :flowerforyou:
  • ^^This! There are no foods that I avoid at all, but I do try to keep within my daily allowance. Having said that, some days, like yesterday, I have no cravings for anything and just had a normal food day, coming in a bit under my calorie goal, but on days when I feel like eating more then I do just that. I love…
