Wow! Amazing!!

Yup, enjoy your weekend! Try to cut back a little during the week and then don't feel so bad about going over on a weekend day. Try to still keep the options healthier, but by all means, eat a little of whatever you want. Weekends are definitely a challenge.

My initial 50 lbs in 6 months was no exercise because I HATE exercise. I just followed the calorie rule and it dropped.

Thank you everyone for the replies. The multitude of "body image counseling" suggestions intrigues me. I paused and thought, "wait what??! Do I have an psychological issue here?!?" that had never crossed my mind. Lights down, shirt on....I can roll with that lol. As for surgery, yes, I am now investigating this option. I…

This is a brilliant idea actually. More than the loose skin in common, we would have both faced the same challenges of weight loss.

I lost 100lbs, I am a 29 year old man, and no one but me and God has ever, or will ever, see me with a shirt off. This also means I am single. I was against "plastic" surgery and felt I would only be doing it for vain reasons. I recently had a complete change of heart. I met someone important to me, explained about my…

I would like to know this also! I need something to give me direction....without paying a trainer!

Fantastic! Keep up the hard work.

hahahaha, now I want chocolate!

Welcome and great job so far! Loose skin will definitely be an issue and unfortunately there really isn't much that can be done other than surgery. (or you could bulk up crazy with muscle but that would just be crazy!) I'm no expert by any means, but I did loose 100+ lbs in a year. I would say for your situation to stick…

Super awesome, saw this yesterday and stopped at the store. Made them last night, delicious! Thanks so much for sharing! I could eat the entire dozen!
-
Wow. From your profile " I wanted to be a skinny ***** again." I guess you can mark that goal complete. Cheers

So happy to find this thread!!! As my weight has gone down, my social life has gone up...and now I drink a bunch. Previously, a bottle of alcohol would last me a year. Now it lasts me a week! My go to drink for being calorie conscious is gin and soda water with lemon, or sometimes a splash of pineapple juice. Its about 75…

Wow! That is an amazing transformation. Great job, you look waaaaaay younger now.

Hi there, Well I lost half that, so I can't really speak on the matter specifically. But I can say that I have never felt better. I feel younger, more energetic, and most of all, much happier. I did 100lbs in 1 year, all natural. The transition from loss to maintaining was actually pretty seamless. I no longer needed to…

Holy crap! I love seeing success stories like these! You rock. You must feel absolutely amazing and so proud. Congrats congrats congrats!!!
-
Right on man! You look great and I hope that your excellent self improvement will have a strong effect on your well-being overall. I think a dog is a great companion that will support you and encourage you. A crazy single guy myself, I would be lost without my pup. Be strong, be proud of who you are, and walk tall.

Wow, I thought I was crazy! Actually ended up here via a Google search on this topic. I'm battling a bad flu or cold and much like the OP, I NEVER take medication. I started Sudafed about 5 days ago because I was miserable....and I noticed I have zero appetite! Even after a couple "adult beverages" where I normally like to…

Wow! And you look happier too

Also, thank you all for your kind words and responses. I am sorry i was delayed in responding. i definitely feel younger and have more energy. I'm really trying to get back on track but even the last few days I have been rather bad. I appreciate all of your support and comments and will hopefully post back with some…

Skin is definitely an issue. I knew going into it that I would probably have loose skin but I am just learning to deal with it as a consequence of my prior lifestyle. I was hoping I was young enough, ~27, but no. I too went about 2 lbs per week. I will never be able to take my shirt off and it kinda saddens me every time I…

Wow +1 to the looking younger comments! Fantastic job! You look fantastic!!!
-
Right on! That really is a mega accomplishment. Going from 3's to 2's makes all your hard work show success!
-
And thank you all. I have read each one of your replies....over and over and over again! Much love to all of you!

Skin is an issue. I don't take my shirt off...ever. Thankfully it is isolated to my lower abdomen, but I hate it. I don't think it will ever go away. I just have to hope some day I'll meet someone who loves me....regardless if I could carry a baby kangaroo around or not.

I do! It's always hilarious too. I had a clerk at Home Depot ask if I had a shorter "heavier" brother... I said, nope, that was me!
-
Thank everyone for taking the time to reply. It is just so weird that I am now on the flip side of this. Just a year ago, I was the one posting on the success stories going "wow, if only I could do what you did". To answer a couple things: I'm 6'2" I did this in about 12 months, one short friggin year. That's it! Top Tips:…

Wow! Awesome work man! And like someone else said, you look WAAAAAY younger!

Wow, I totally love all of you! This community is just....well.....utterly amazing. So many of you said I inspired you....but through all of this, YOU have inspired me. I must have read this thread 10 times now. I think you all gave me the inspiration I need to tackle the last 10 lbs. Some replies: ...John Belushi…
