I can see how you'd be motivated to kind of prove yourself to be better than what was said about you. For myself...I usually react better to positive reinforcement and good vibes. When someone puts me down I want to reach for the cake and that's usually not a good thing.

I do that too. I was so good for a few weeks, got sick, pulled out the ice cream and now I'm back to where I started and starting again this week. I need to hold myself accoutable in order for this to work, and I will. You will too. Feel free to add me.

I agree. Break it down so the final number doesn't seem so huge. I know how much I want to loose this year but I know I can loose 15 by Thanksgiving. Every day I'll try to achieve 15 by Thanksgiving. I'm 5'4" and my goal weight is 145-150...I'm pretty top heavy and no matter what my weight this is always the case so 135, although ideal for my height, isn't realistic.

I had Chinese food for lunch. Yes, I logged it. No, I probably should not have eaten all of it. It was good though and I don't really regret it.
