  • You just have to be sure you take in at least 1200 per day! If you exercise, you need to be sure you replace at least some of the calories that you burned. If you loose too fast, you will gain it back that much faster, because you can't keep up taking in less than 1000 per day. I have been on mfp for 500 plus days and have…
  • After watching Covert Bailey on PSB years ago, he is was a fitness/nutritional expert. He said there was something about swimming that it does not work for weight loss. I have seen a HS swimming practice and they are out of the pool doing all sorts of cardio and weight lifting exercises. Try walking or cardio exercises at…
  • Good Article Baggins!
  • The Kellogs protein bars are good and kinda low calorie.
  • Yep, you gotta eat at least 1200 per day and if you work out you gotta eat to make up the calories burned to net out at 1200. Plus you look like your in pretty good shape as it is!
  • Yep, everyone is right, you need to be over the 1200 per day including exercise. Sounds like your working out a lot. So get to the 1200 cals per day.
  • Yep, the Polar is the way to go. It also syncs with the exercise machines at the gym for your heart rate. You'll find the machines are way way off on the calorie burn.
  • I got the same problem, I have stopped using the treadmill and have moved to the elliptical and the cybex machine, it gives a great calorie burn. You can make it hard or as easy as you want. Whatever machine gets your heart rate up and doesn't hurt your knees is good.
  • Get a heart rate monitor, I have been using one for a few weeks and it works great. You can add P90X as cardio and then plug in your cals burned. I think you'll be surprised on how many you burn. I even use mine while playing basketball.
  • Weight lifting does not burn that many calories during the process, but should be done at least twice a week. If you don't lift for a week or so, you will be starting all over again.
  • I use the GNC and add frozen strawberry to it.
